We knew it was tramatic to Sheldon. When Howard's mother died unexpectedly, Sheldon makes reference to it. He says that he had no friends to help him through it. I thought the two men knocking on the door and delivering the bad news was exceptional. Very real and emotional. I will really miss this show and all of its wonderful characters.
George Cooper - what an amazing actor you are Lance --- best TV dad character ever ... not really a word to describe how it feels to have been part of watching Young Sheldon - never have so many Actors come together and just smashed it out of the Ball park - thanks you and thank you all for the show
Lance, Annie, and Montana were my favorites. Yes, knew this time was coming and wasn't looking forward to it. So sad!!!! Sheldon never looked so serious and in shock in any of the episodes as he did in ep.12.
number one it's so interesting to hear lance barber's real voice,, number two im dumbstruck because up until today i didn't know zoe perry was laurie metcalf's daughter.
Sad that they were minutes away from taking a memorable family picture with their grandchild in it. That picture never got to happen. Life is like that.
That episode made me immediately hug my dad, his father passed away from a heart attack and wasn’t there when he passed , and my dad had just gotten into college like Sheldon. It really made me see the love I have for my father and appreciate the time we have while somewhat understanding the grief he went through at such a young age.
I was hoping that they didn’t go there & George could be part of the new show… I love George & have since the beginning… Wonderful show that will be missed…❤
Hit me harder than normal because my dad passed in 2021 and never got to say goodbye either. Woke up, went to work and got a call from my mom a few hours later. World felt like it stopped that night. The things I went through. Glad I'm here and got to watch this great show. He nailed the role and was a great father figure.
He did get to see where Sheldon was going to go to college at when they both went to Caltech in season 3 and saw where Sheldon, Leonard, Raj and Howard would be having their conversations while eating in the cafeteria there at Caltech.
The writers probally figured since they didnt know when his death would exactly fall. But the good thing is he got to take sheldon to see the college back in season 3
that episode was done really well. It hit me especially hard because my dad died when i was four and i also don’t think i got the chance to say goodbye.
George will for ever be a lovable character. We all love George. I don't understand the next 2 episodes after that. The filming was weird, the editing was off, the script writing was exceptional bad. First the 2 guys almost win an oscar for acting the part where they deliver the news to Mary... but in church, they tried to make it a comedy? It was so weird to watch. Especially after Mary's speech.
It's probably going to hurt Georgie the most because he was making fun of him being old. And Sheldon was starting to shut down his emotions he tuned out everyone's crying.
Just watched the last episode last night 😢. It’s a pity the show had to end and the inevitable had to happen. I hope we’ll still get to see most of the characters in Georgie’s new show. Btw wish they brought Veronica and that blond bully guy who protected Sheldon from Georgie for a little bit. Loved those 2. Also wish there was more Branda n Billy.
At someone who had a shit mother, Zoe Perry playing a caring mother figure was mixed emotions for me. One being a tigger for trama caused by my own so-called mother, and the other an escape of what a caring mother would be. Thank you for that character, Zoe Perry.
I can't move on... Young sheldon is my comfort series... It made me calm and happy all the time.... I have not watched bigbang theory because the funny sound effects is really annoying and it really hurts my ear.
I wanted to tell you George Cooper I loved your series but I have a real question is that you are really I didn't want to intensify you but I am your biggest idol and I too would like to be like you leaving your family c It was Sarah Marimoutou who said goodbye to you.
I wanted to tell you George Cooper I loved your series but I have a real question is are you dead? I really didn't want to irritate you but I am your biggest idol and I too would like to be like you, leaving your family it was Sarah Marimoutou who spoke to you goodbye.
They could’ve did the scene with George passing a little bit better, like could’ve had him in the hospital bed holding his heart or arm over his stomach or something
But I think the idea is that this was very sudden there wasn’t some build up he didn’t go to hospital there wasn’t some fight for life he was just there then it happened now he’s gone. They also kind of did the hospital thing when he had a mini heart attack a few seasons back
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849i’m sorry, that’s my bad. I was just trying to say they could’ve did the scene a little bit better. Didn’t mean to make it dark on you.
I can't entirely agree with the OP. I loved the way the show handled his death. I thought maybe he would be in the hospital based on some of the pictures they showed online (though I realized later this was from the first heart attack he had). We knew he was going to die, but we didn't realize we would never see him again. It showed his family's true emotions about his death and caught us all off guard.
Thanks for giving us George Cooper, Lance. You are a phenomenal actor.
Finally a TV dad that acted like a father should.
Me too!
They are both incredible actors and nailed the Texan accent
George Cooper is the best TV dad in decades. I’ll miss this show and this family that we’ve grown to love.
Best TV dad in decades yes! Hear hear!

genuinely cried for an hour those last few episodes; it was the most touching episode I've ever watched

an emotional episode for sure .. Lance will be so missed… i’m just mad it is all ending i LOVE THIS SHOW !!!!
Lance was the best part of the show IMHO. I hope he gets on another show soon.
We had 7 years to be mentally prepared for this but still it hurts so bad
😢
George's voice is way higher than I thought it would be 😭
Lance, Annie, and Montana were my favorites. Yes, knew this time was coming and wasn't looking forward to it. So sad!!!! Sheldon never looked so serious and in shock in any of the episodes as he did in ep.12.
It was so emotional! I screamed Nooooo and burst into tears
Literally in tears when I watched that episode. Thank you, Lance, for 7 seasons of George Cooper.
Same, same, just a few hours ago! 😥😥
Her real voice sounds a lot like her mother’s voice.
Looks too

This was a hard one.Kudos to the cast.

That moment when george die was heartbreaking. Thank you very much for being george cooper sr.
Sad that George did not see Sheldon go off to Cal Tech
Or start his job at Rice.
He did get to see where Sheldon was going to go to college at when they both went to Caltech in season 3 and saw where Sheldon, Leonard, Raj and Howard would be having their conversations while eating in the cafeteria there at Caltech.

Having never heard it before, I did NOT expect that voice out of Lance!
The entire cast was phenomenal. I hope they all make huge residual incomes like Seinfeld show did.
we sure are experiencing depression and crying 24/7
I was still hoping that show would end on a happy note and that George would die in a timeline after the last episode.
I’ve never heard Lance Barber’s natural voice before- he doesn’t sound like George at all!
I knew it was coming at some point, but did not expect it before the series ended. 😢
We knew this was coming since season 1 episode 1
Moral of the story
Take care of your health
reduce alcohol intake especially after a first heart attack
Incorrect. Moral of the story is to appreciate your loved ones while they're here because the next moment they may not be anymore.
that episode was done really well. It hit me especially hard because my dad died when i was four and i also don’t think i got the chance to say goodbye.

The funeral scene in the Church just made me fill up.
It sucks that Georgie wasn’t in the room to hear what happened to George only Mary Missy Mee Maw and Sheldon heard😭😭😭😭
I'm not sure I want to see next episode and their reaction.
Well, they would come out in a minute and hear it from their family... It happens like that in real life, not everyone is present during such news.
It's probably going to hurt Georgie the most because he was making fun of him being old. And Sheldon was starting to shut down his emotions he tuned out everyone's crying.
That scene hit hard 😢😢😢
I balled like a baby the whole second last episode of season 7. Gut wrenching yet beautiful.
What did the principal says(can't hear him clearly)?
Principal: "I'm sorry...he had a heart attack"
Missy: "He's OK, right?"
Principal: "He's gone..."
I live in Alabama and their southern accents are so incredible that I thought they were both really southern.
So jarring to hear Lance without his character’s accent. I almost couldn’t understand him. They both were great.
Still crying
I am really missing this show, the spin off will be amazing when it gets to the UK.
I was kind of hoping it would be his death and then the first episode of !Andy and georgie is the aftermath/funeral then a time skip in episode 2
Just watched the last episode last night 😢. It’s a pity the show had to end and the inevitable had to happen. I hope we’ll still get to see most of the characters in Georgie’s new show.

It hurts 😢
I cried on on and on for d whole episode
I cried!!!! Well done 👏 ✔
The dad literally looks like Fred Flintstone
This is so unexpected 😢
Lance's voice is significantly higher than George Cooper's. Interesting.
At someone who had a shit mother, Zoe Perry playing a caring mother figure was mixed emotions for me. One being a tigger for trama caused by my own so-called mother, and the other an escape of what a caring mother would be. Thank you for that character, Zoe Perry.
Man George really didn’t want to do the family photos.
Repeat watching TBBT isn't same after watching young Sheldon 😢
I can't move on... Young sheldon is my comfort series... It made me calm and happy all the time.... I have not watched bigbang theory because the funny sound effects is really annoying and it really hurts my ear.
Sad
Fans get attached to the characters in the movie 🎬 🎞 🎥 🎦 📽.
Naturally, they would get upset!
It's agonizing!
I feel sad 😔 😟 🙁 😥 😞 😿
Was Lance "George" in the coffin the whole "Funeral" episode?
Kinda messed up Man, it happened right on the end. I should have waited next week 😢oh well😊
What happens next, also cliffhanger alert
😢
Sheldon said his dad died of alcoholism.
Is the roll dead or the actor ?
Well the actor was doings an interview about the character's death so...

Mimicked a situation I experienced

The worst series finale ever I changed the channel
Lol best. We all know he gonna die 10 years back
It was way more sad when Edith Bunker died. Seeing Archie cry just ripped my heart out.
