It raises millions of £s for children’s charities, lots of celebrities, special editions of popular shows and the public fund raising. All good stuff! Xx Great reaction as always! There are videos on YT of his radio show - he had the breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 which had the highest audience in Europe! He did these very funny stories called 'Janet and John' which were Incredibly FILTHY but Hysterical!! They went out live, every morning and I still don't know how they got away with it!!

In 2000 he was in two breakthrough tv shows which catapulted him into the spotlight 'Human Remains' with the hugely talented and massively underrated Julia Davis, and 'Marion and Geoff' which was the show which made him an overnight success, you'd love both and I'd highly recommend you react to them at some point in the future.
Excellent recommendations, more people should be made aware of these - "Marion and Geoff" was my introduction to Rob Brydon and it is still one of my all-time comedy favourites!

When he did the voice acting on the Discworld Game in 1995 is when 'the geeks' knew who he was. He has a hell of a lot of voice credits since 2k also. I didn't watch either of the above shows and didn't like most of his 'acting' he's a brilliant host and 'stand-up' though. PS Gavin & Stacey and Keith Barret were before, one is very widely known ;-) It's probably my gen-x-ness ;-)

Rob was in the Marple episode: 4:15 from Paddington...not a movie, but he has 2 funny scenes where he's almost like a parody of a train station manager. The whole episode is really great if you like non-gory cozy murder mysteries. EDIT: I'm just going to go watch it because I watched your Rob video! I've talked myself into it, even though I know who the murderer is, the cast is great! Besides I watch your videos every Saturday to avoid the horrible news that I see all week, so this will be a continuation of that!

Useless fact time . The man doing the Terry Wogan impression during the Ken Bruce scene was the voice of Darth Maul in the Phantom Menace. Also there was a great April Fools joke from about 10 years ago where they replaced the BBC Radio 2 presenters with impressionists including Rob doing Ken Bruce. It was hilarious!

He did 4 BBC TV Movies with Stephen Coogan, 'The Trip', 'The Trip To Italy', ' 'The Trip To Spain' and 'The Trip To Greece'. He also had a number of his own TV Shows.
Steve Coogan used the idea of the performer who pretended to be his own agent in his series, 'Coogan's Run'. On a radio show Rob had to perform the Spiderman theme to the tune of Les Miserables which he did pretty well.
Basically, Eurovision is a laugh/pantomime that we all embrace. It would have sunk into oblivion - in the UK - if it hadn't been for Terry Wogan. The piss-taking jollity of the whole nonsense is down to him. Graham Norton has taken on the mantle, admirably. Other countries think we are facile, disrespectful and immature about it. Many years ago there were times when i'd have a day off from the office that i'd call up my friend/co-worker just before lunchtime and pretend to be one of the clients from Wales, Scotland or Ireland and ask him utter nonsense questions which I knew he couldn't answer. After about 30 minutes of getting him to go around in circles i'd then just switch back to my normal voice and say, "Aaahhhhh, got you, ya wanker! I'm off to the pub!" and then hang up. lol

I did something similar but, initially, never let on and during the rest of the day made subtle references to some of my unusual remarks until he realized that my comments were so like the "other" earlier Guy that he, eventually, realized that he had been had but the first couple of glances he gave me were met with a blank expression so he, originally, gave me the benefit of the doubt and put it down to co-incidence until the penny dropped. lol
You mention the acting, which definitely highlights how you perceive the cause but the actress you pointed out is the highly proclaimed actress Dame Emma Thompson, who has won 2 Oscars plus many other accolades. That doesn't take away how amazing the other actors were. These ads certainly make you think, which is exactly what they are designed to do

Rob Brydon is a stand up comedian in his own right and has had his ow chat show. He is also an actor, and was most known as Uncle Bryn in the series Gavin and Stacey. He started a video podcast during lockdown, and continued it after, he did a great interview with Noel Gallagher, its the most natural and funny I have ever seen Noel in an interview.... its on RUclips

Rob was in a documentary/dry comedy which was something like the office when David Brent started to be a travelling salesman in his car, but Rob was a taxi driver who was recording his day, look it up it's great, it was his first time on TV I think

@@CTheRobot can't believe someone else remembers it, nobody used to believe it about him in something like that or that they never saw it, it should have been seen in the same light as the office, there wasn't anything on T.V. at the time like it, I think comedy was at a different place at the time, at least we knew it was something special before the masses jumped on the Rob band wagon,
