This is what I hate about track days in Australia with so many higher powered V8's on track. They can usually pull away a bit on the straights but after the next bend you are right up their bumper and they don't move, just so they can pull away and feel faster on the 1 or 2 straights they have the advantage.
It's one of the few things in life that genuinely make me rage. Thankfully, most of the time at least, people do get out of the way if it's clear you've got a bit more pace. As Lewis said though, this was us running a few laps together so we could compare, and also get some footage of his car in action.
@@Lew-tronic ahhh I'm not sure if he said in the video you guys knew each other, if he did I must have missed it. All good if you guys were doing it with each other to see how the cars are different lol. A different story when strangers just don't move haha.
I'm editing my sessions in chronological order Nathan. All in good time... My last wet morning session will be uploaded on Sunday, so you'll likely appear in my rear view on Wednesday or Friday next week 😁

@@Lew-tronic all good.
Nice video as always Mark. I always enjoy a good track day video
Please drive on something more challenging Porsche's love the green hell.
Which engine was the silver 2 series that got between you two?
This makes me want to take my 2016 manual 230i on track again.
It was a 2009 135i so that makes it the N55 I think.
Nice video Mark. Any chance of posting the megane pass on here or in the WhatsApp group at some point? I’m itching to see it 😊 Cheers, Nathan

@@MarkCup70 you total legend 🤩
@@MarkCup70 love your work mark. Keep it going! 👍💪
Not so greasy off the racing line in the wet.
Noticeably so! It was like a completely different surface...so I stayed wide so long as it was damp 😀
Did you manage to sort out your brakes?
They got better as the day progressed and I worked them harder...I ended they day with nothing but praise for the Bluestuff pads.
Looked like a 340i to me?
Technically it is, but with two cylinders lopped off.
