3:18 Slight correction: It could still stay but mostly it will just fall after a few seconds, that doesn't count as a hit, it hast to stay stuck until you remove it.
4:35 As with any skill, it takes a while to get good at it. Some people only need a few throws to stick it constantly, others (like me) needed multiple sessions. I keep improving on every session and I go there every week.
5:25 The difficulty with the one-handed throw is that you still need to throw the axe straight ahead and not diagonally. It logically only sticks in the board when the sharp edge gan dig itself into the wood. This shows how by trial and error I try to get the one-handed throws consistent after being used to the double handed throw for over 2 years.

5:56 I was trying to make a double bullseye shot (both axes into the middle green dot). I still haven't done it, but I am confident I'll pull it off soon...
Of course, safety is the #1 priority, only try this at official axe-throwing places and safe environments with help of an expert or experienced person. If you behave correctly, this sport is safe and injuries are very unlikely.
