It should be noted that the eJPT exam is only $200 and the PTS training from INE (which is all you need to study for the exam) is totally free. No need to pay for the subscription
@@mohammedsaqeeb6400 100% Just sign up for the started pass and you get the PTS course free. You'll just need to pay for the test when you're ready (FYI you get 2 attempts)
Hi, thank you for the review. I just passed my CCNA and I'm interested in pen testing. Is the INE videos enough to get a good solid foundation for hackin/eJPT cert? Did you use any other learning materials like hack the box?
Hi Erik, Congratulation for your CCNA !! I would like to know How long did it take you (and did you have prior experience?) Im studying too for the the CCNA right now
@@snakeblue2484 Hi, Thank you! I had no prior knowledge. I took me about 8 months. I had OCG books, Udemy course from Neil Anderson and Boson exam. Hint: Do alot of labs, this will help you to understand topics 100% better. Neil's udemy course is like 15˘€ and labs are included. Worth every €! Good luck
@BigBroSecurity My only concern about net+ and sec+ is renewing them and I am from India the customer service comptia provide is not great. so I have a lot of doubts and I am little nervous to take on the exam do you have any idea to renew them
@@talkelley3 ahh I figured that would be the case I got the pentester start pack before doing the eJPT but I’m having trouble with the openvpn never used it before so I have no idea what to do I’ve tried RUclips videos but the download file they have is different
Thanks for you review! I am an experienced network engineer, i am now completing my Security+ from CompTIA, and after that i wanna do the eJPT 😍 i hope i will be able to switch to some Penetration Testing Job. Wish me luck ahahah
Hey this helped me a lot, trying to figure out which certification to get as a beginner because I just jumped in the water and had the same experience with CEH, I found it horrible. Would it be possible to complete this as well as the eCPPTv2 in less than a year if cost is not a problem? Also how would I go about building my portfolio towards becoming a pentester? Much appreciated for the information and review.
I think that goal is definitely achievable! As far as a portfolio, I think doing labs with HackTheBox is a way to build up a high rank there and show some level of competency, and certifications like the eJPT and eCPPT, OSCP etc. are good ways to build up your portfolio as well.
Nice video! This is exactly the kind of review I was looking for. I think I'm going to look into taking this soon. As a tip/critique: It might be a good idea to clarify if you have/have not been compensated by the organization you are reviewing. I know your channel is on the small side (for now!) but it's a really good practice. The first thing that runs through my head whenever I watch any content like this is, "Okay, did they take this for free in exchange for a review?" "Are they affiliated with the company in any way?" "Do they have a friend who works there?" Etc. I'm guessing you probably aren't compensated by them, but I would just feel a little better hearing it stated in the video. :) Cheers, and keep up the good work!

Yeah that's pretty awesome! Super glad they did that.
I just checked and when i goto the get access button it goes to subscription page. Didnt make an account. Am i missing something?
@@spaff_hazz You'll have to make an account, but they shouldn't ask for any form of payment to access the PTS materials.
Thank you for this video. I used it in my eJPT prep and I passed last weekend.
Passing this exam is one of my goals this year! Thanks for the great info!
You got it bro! It's easy!!! I was able hack all the machines, except 1. I got 16 out 20. IDK why 4 were incorrect! :(
I did it in 7 hours.
Same I am studying this course right now.

I would definitely say it is @Khaled. Congrats Swastik!
did you pass?

Awesome! I'm always glad when others such as yourself can verify that my information would be helpful to people looking to take this exam.
Watching your vid with CyberInsecurity definitely helped me make the jump to INE!
Hi, thank you for the review. Which boxes from HTB would you recommend to practise for eJPT?
Hi, thank you for the review. I just passed my CCNA and I'm interested in pen testing. Is the INE videos enough to get a good solid foundation for hackin/eJPT cert? Did you use any other learning materials like hack the box?
I would do some HTB if you’re just doing the INE videos and not the labs. Otherwise if you do INE’s labs I’d say those would get you through
@@talkelley3 Thank you! Keep it up with the videos, they are great !

How long would you recommend to prepare for this exam? I have my sec + and about 6 months of hacking experience
Thank you for your video ! Very interesting
I really want to pass this eJPT so hard!
Can you help me please Can I jump into this cert directly or taking network+ and security+ will help me
or can I go CND-CEH and eJPT
I’d say doing Net+ and Sec+ would help but if you’re wanting to do CND-CEH I’d go for eJPT first at the very least

I'm primarily referring to using commands like ip route add NETWORK/MASK via GATEWAY type commands.
@@talkelley3 just say your reply thanks for replying tho, but i passed my eJPT yesterday night yohoo

The LG 34” Ultrawide Gaming monitor, the latest one they make now I think
If i dont have any experience, its going to take a years worth of studying to pass this exam?
I’d say 3-6 months for sure is doable
Solid video dude.
thanks, mate for the review :)
Bro is there any job I can apply after getting the ejpt certification... please give me your thoughts..thnks 🙏🙏

About to start studying for the eJPT I was wondering is the eJPT certificate enough to start a pentesting job / be employed with the certificate?
Possibly, but more than likely a potential employer will be looking for the OSCP
