@@Kramer-tt32 ahhh! No curse. Don't quote me but I believe in the King James bible in one of the books it's discussed that the unrighteous will have darkened skin. In the end the dark skin people are the righteous and light skin people were the unrighteous.
That's usually what people are getting at. But it's not taken literally. As everything in the Bible it represents a deeper meaning. I use if sins had a smell to it, what smell would you be.
There was a time when the LDS Church opened certain church rights to black people. Now it's open to anyone and everyone. I struggle with why and how they got excluded to begin with. I've been told various things over the years but none of them put my mind at ease.
I do find comfort that those exclusions have been corrected. And I can smell like a judgey person who wants to know whose bright idea it was to give permission based on a person's color.

If it made you feel uncomfortable, was that an emotion or fact based reaction? We all come about these things everyday. If you see everyone as equals, fact base decisions won’t make you made. If your church is true, then research cannot harm it. Please, please read the CES Letter. I love you as a fellow human, but it is my duty as a Christian to let you know that the book of Mormon is absolutely provably false. Go out and research the book of mormon against what the Bible says. The book of mormon teaches an entirely different God and Jesus than what the Bible states authoritatively. I love you, this isn’t meant to insult you, but you are being led astray and it hurts my soul. I’m an ex-member, raised in the church. I know how you feel. Your whole life is centered around this church. To leave the church would be to leave your life, but this isn’t true. It would be starting a whole new life based in the true Jesus Christ of the Bible. It would be setting yourself free from one of the greatest achievements of Satan, the mormon church. The LDS church, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Scientology are all horrible establishments that are direct enemies of salvation. I pray that God allows you to see. Amen.

*The Validity Of Joseph Smith As A Prophet*
The way Christians can determine who is a prophet of God is through 2 teachings that a can be found in the Book of Deuteronomy.
”If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.“‭‭ - *Deuteronomy‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬*
”And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.“ -‭‭*Deuteronomy‬ ‭18‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭KJV‬‬*
These tests essentially state that if a self-proclaimed prophet leads you astray from Yahweh and biblical teachings and/or they make prophecies that do not come to pass, they are not a prophet nor a child of God. It goes as far to say that they should be put to death during that time.
“We will never get a man into space. This earth is man’s sphere and it was never intended that he should get away from it.” - Joseph Fielding Smith
In 1892 an article appeared in the “Young Women’s Journal” (an official church magazine) Vol. 3 pp. 263, 264. It’s author, Oliver B. Huntington wrote: “Nearly all the great discoveries of men in the last half century have, in one way or another, either directly or indirectly, contributed to prove Joseph Smith to be a Prophet. As far back as 1837, I know that he said the moon was inhabited by men and women the same as the earth, and that they lived to a greater age than we do - that they lived generally to near the age of one-thousand years. He described the men as averaging near six feet in height and dressing quite uniformly in something near the Quaker style.”
Oliver goes on to say, “In my Patriarchal blessing, given by the father of Joseph the Prophet, in Kirtland, 1837, I was told that I would preach the gospel to the inhabitants upon the islands of the sea, and - to the inhabitants of the moon, even the planet you can now behold with your eyes.”
Then we have this statement by Brigham Young that he preached over the pulpit as a prophet of God: “Who can tell us of the inhabitants of this little planet that shines of an evening, called the moon? When we view its face, we may see what is termed ‘the man in the moon,’ and what some philosophers declare are the shadows of mountains. But these sayings are very vague, amount to nothing; and when you inquire about the inhabitants of that sphere you find that most learned are as ignorant in regard to them as the most ignorant of their fellows. So, it is with regard to the inhabitants of the sun. Do you think it is inhabited? I rather think it is. Do you think there is life there? No question of it; it was not made in vain.”
Mormons will say, well, these are only opinions. But if you read those quotes in full context, you can see they are not just opinions. Brigham and others used it to teach principles of the Mormon gospel.
Also, according to Brigham Young in Journal of Discourses, vol. 13 p. 95, he said: “I have never yet preached a sermon and sent it out to the children of men, that they may not call Scripture.”
Smith and Young are not prophets. They are idolaters and liars. I pray you do further research in your own beliefs and prophets. There are far more like these Lori. ✝️❤️

The first girl only said that this person said something racist. I’ve been told that the belief in freedom of speech is a racist white mans concept. What did this person say? I never went to college but I certainly understand that I can’t take what a single person says at face value, I need to know what the person said.

@CyberMan4858A possibly ex member here, haven't decided yet, so the churches behavior is I think two points shy of a cult.
Does the group leader have unquestionable authority over the members? Yes
Are members discouraged from questioning decisions made by leaders? Yes
Is there a significant level of control over aspects of members' personal lives (such as living arrangements, friendships, and dietary choices)?Yes
Does the group isolate members from family, friends, and the broader society? Sorta
Is leaving the group discouraged, with negative consequences described or implied? Yes
Does the group have a polarized us-vs-them mentality, which may include seeing outsiders as lesser or wrong? Sorta
Are members expected to devote inordinate amounts of time to group activities and recruiting new members?Yes
Does the group use public humiliation or intense emotional manipulation to manage members? Yes
Is there a lack of financial transparency regarding how funds are spent by the leadership? Yes
Are doubts or dissent within the group handled by attributing these to personal failings or lack of faith? Yes

I know exactly what talk you’re referring to. Explain to me what was racist said? I listened to it, and it seems like people are being offended over something that was not racist.
Elder Holland speaks the truth, and the truth hurts. Even still, was not racist.
