I bought this album on cassette back in 1986 and listened to it in my Mark II Ford Escort S reg , which got knicked ( Mancester , near Fallowfield ) even had a " Krooklock " on it . Anyway 30+ years later still love it . Really great music from a great musician . My wife disagrees with the " tights around yr ankles " but i maintain it happened.
almost has a Wurlitzer organ sound to it at times. My grandparents used to own one, I used to sit there at age 10 and attempt to play songs on it, Beatles, anything. Made a horrible racket.

Billy was a part of my education 80 onwards.
I played the grooves off this album in the 80's. Every song goes straight to your heart.
Me too.
Still listening I'm 63

Should I call him the most underrated lyricist of all times - or the greatest among them all?
Why not both?
He's right up there...

Such a great song. Any chance you know the name of the instrument used here? Sounds like some sort of synthesizer.

@Strongfoot sound like an electric organ to me
When he played in the Seattle in the 00's, he changed the Adam and Eve to Adam and Steve and the crowd went wild.
