Drama: My Journey To You (Chinese) 2023 Song: “Wicked Game” Cover by Fort Nowhere This couple was so different from the main leads; completely opposites really. The push-and-pull relationship these two have with each other was very interesting. I will admit these two keep me very suspenseful throughout the drama. It was unfortunate these two did not end up together, but I was expecting it given how their story unfolded. Both had placed something else before their feelings for each other: the Gong Family for Gong Shangjue and revenge for her family/sect for Shangguan Qian.
I really like this couple more than the main couple because their story is intriguing. Their interactions are what I like!! It's so sad to see they have not ended up together. 💙
The second fl doesnt like the second ml...coz she told the Wufeng the hours the 2nd ML will be weak so that they can kill him. I felt that 1st ml & fl had a better chemistry & a story. There was very less love between the 2nd couple.
10:15 when he choked yun wei after she confirmed shangguan was also a spy. Thats when i realised he loved shangguan because he never acts on impulse. That was the first time. He was really hurt. Deep down he knew but he didnt want to confront the truth.
When she asked him to help her get revenge, saying "If you help me kill Dianzhu, i will give you my everything". In responded to that, he said "Everything ?... What else can you give me ?". I belive that's the moment all the trust and love she had for him dissapeard. She sincerely asked him for help but he... It's like a knife to Shangguan Qian's last trust to Gong Shang Jue. She even BEGGED for him ! Him asking her that question is just downright cruel, she would've been better if she just did it alone than to asked for help and to end up like that. He abandoned her, what did she had to stay for ? But to give Gong Shang Jue some credit, he doesn't know whether what she said is true or not, Shangguan Qian is also half true and half lie all the time. Both of them did not have enough trust in each other, so the mirror (love) broke into pieces.
when i loved their story more than the main leads. gosh they didn’t even have any other skinship but their chemistry was amazing! i hope Cheng Lei and Lu Yuxiao reunite in another drama!
This couple is the only reason why i watch this drama.tbh, these two characters are well write.their chemistry is also good.this couple is more than the main couple.
I'm so happy to watch amazing edits of them. Gong Shangjue and Shangguan Qian are one of those couples that drill a hole in your brain and stay there for a long time. Lu Yuxiao and Cheng Lei did an amazing job portraying them.

Their was story was way more intriguing. They both shoulder their own responsibilities and are true to their duties which makes there suitation more delicate. Their personalities are similar. They are both strong, bold, strategist, and goal focused. They love each other but both made their responsiblity is their 1st priority which makes it harder for them give up all for love. Qian can't just forget all the pain her family went through so she wants revenge whereas Shanjue wants to protect Gong family. It's truly a pity. But i wonder with so much trust broken could they rebuild it again? Sometimes time heals wounds. Hopefully after they both heal they can find each other again. In my mind that's gonna be their ending.
I did requested u to make an FMV on these couple and finally u did thank u very much i completely enjoyed these couple more caz the intense suspense between them while there convo felt like my whole throat was quenching for thirst. i'm so damn impatient for them in another season the intense and the mysterious sentence she wispered left me dying. “Do you know the flower meaning of azalea?” - Gong Shangjue “The flower meaning of azalea is I belong to you forever.” - Shangguan Qian at the end she was watering them in her garden. The scene was so mesmerizing and heart breaking.
superb acting. their story and background are just more interesting than the main leads. If SGQ was not a spy, it would have looked abusive as heck, but she was a spy and the guy was just doing his job being careful around potential threats as a clan loyalist/leader. in the end, I don't think they got a happy ending
Wicked game (ursine vulpine) was one of my most favourite songs: it was full of yearning. Usually, when I love one version of a song I don’t like any other version. But this version screams rivalry and unwillingness to fall in love, better than the ursine vulpine version which was more yearning. My top 3 on repeat songs on Spotify includes Shallow Terminal Angle and Fort Nowhere’s Wicked Game because of your video, I’m so obsessed with this couple 😭

I felt bad for shngjue but sangguan qian deseverd her karma.Till the very end she was ready to destroy everything for her own benefit whether she loved shangjue or not
She has to avenge for her family. She prioritized her family just like gong shangjue prioritized his. They both had their own life missions and clearly gong shangjue was not receptive to her feelings too. She sacrificed everything and trained so hard just to bring justice to her family. She's not selfish like you're portraying her to be. Even love could not sway her from her desparateness to bring her family peace which I appreciate.
she is willing to give up everything but sang jue refused to help her,so she took solely for her revenge without anyone willing to help her..she's my fave character in the series.hoping for season 2 i just wanted to know about her backstory.and her journey being pregnant alone without sangjue.
