- Okay listen, I tried to summarise my notes but there are so many choices in the visuals that just confused tf out of me. I don’t know what is deliberate so I just assumed what is most likely a part of the story

2 month late Summary:
Chan has stated that the storyline was written by the group and the company jointly. The ‘storyline’ is based on the real journey that stray kids were going through in the beginning of their careers. Instead to telling the story through realistic cinematography, they tell it using non-literal and exaggerated visual metaphors to symbolise their journey. This means the visuals for music videos are more interesting, thought provoking and also still hold their relatable virtue. In 3racha’s pre-debut work, Chan wrote about how he valued his trainee friends and hoped to debut as 9. He wrote about his insecurities possibly leading a team, and although he would pretend to be okay when friends left him, he really emphasised the a need for security. The song was called, ‘cloud 9’ because having a concrete clique provided comfort and optimism for the future. This is where the concept, ‘district 9’ was formed.
The story is about lost kids who are trying to find themselves. This is why they are called ‘stray kids’. To quote Chan, “There’s a reason why we’re called Stray Kids. (...) you know how we have a very special motto, ‘Stray kids everywhere all around the world’? (...) when we wrote the lyrics for that in District 9 we meant everyone. (...) everyone who feels astray” They want to be relatable representatives for youth through their music.
The pre-debut mixtape made in their survival show, was the beginning of the story. It contains themes relative to youthful roles in life and has has a mix of powerful/ moody edm (hellevator), upbeat synthheavy pop (school life), aggressive delinquent rock (beware, yayaya) and emotional r&b (4419). In this video I display all songs on albums and highlight important lines that foreshadow metaphorical concepts in the story. Each title track or single in their discography is considered to be an independent point in their journey as seen by the illustration map on twitter:

In the cinematic universe, all of Stray kids are shown to be high school friends who do not want to let go of their childhood memories due to a fear they will grow apart. Therefore they create an imaginary world where they don’t have to live up to mature social expectations like being a lawyer or doctor (Kind of like Peter Pan in Neverland). This is why the next album is titled ‘I am not’. If you watch their 2019 vheartbeat performance you’ll notice they are wearing replicas of the uniforms from ‘dead poets society’. ruclips.net/video/zPG31mM8m0g/видео.html
This allusive reference reflects their rejection of social conformity. They travel to the imaginary world in an elevator. The elevator is just a symbol of progression from one place to another, it could lead to heaven or hell depending on where you’re willing to take yourself (think of the title, ‘hellevator’).
Following this, the album ‘I am who’ is about them questioning who they are. It represents a common monumental contemplation in life. A feeling of insecurity that I’m sure many of us can empathise with. Stray kids discover they feel relieved that they can go through this journey together, which is what the next album, ‘I am you’ is about.
This concludes the ‘I am’ series and introduces the new ‘cle’ series beginning with ‘Miroh’. Miroh is a powerful and confident album. The title track has this epic bouncy electro chorus and the dance pays homage to the wars chants of the New Zealand Haka. Yellow wood is the second album in the ‘cle’ series. Each song has an intensive, fearful outlook on the future and cracks begin to appear in their world. The main song for the album, ‘side effects’ encapsulates this idea. It incorporates sirens, vocal distortion and screaming in a psych-trance bracket to convey these emotions. Most writing on this album has a critical consciousness about the directions they’re going. They want to be a star but they don’t want to be a falling star (tmt).
After the discrepant anxiety of yellow wood, levanter is a conclusion to the story where they finally “Step out” of the illusion. Instead of having fear about which road is correct, “all strayed steps come together to make a new road.” They promote a new direction that destroys their own fantasy In favour of coming to terms with their responsibilities migrating to adulthood. The lesson here is, although you might be uncomfortable with the idea that growing up has some intense responsibilities and you might want to distract yourself, eventually you will grow to embrace these changes in your life. This can be achieved through a journey of self discovery and social support. All ends meet in levanter and they finally “feel the light”. The two moons become one. You might have noticed some choreography from past songs are referenced. Instead of Hyunjin breaking Felix’s neck like in side effects (metaphorically lol), he refrains from violence.
The next step after coming to terms with your adult responsibilities is to ‘go live’ out your life “do what ever you want”. ‘Gods menu’ projects this freeness on the ‘go live’ album with power and confidence cooked up in a fire of passion. The ‘go live’ album is very fun and it includes some additional side projects.
Symbolism:
There are some references to ‘flying’ and birds. There’s an eagle screech in miroh, a crow sound in awkward silence, a mention of crows in gods menu, visuals of crows in levanter, the song ‘young wings’, the lyric “my wings are folded” in hellevator. These references symbolise a person and their pursuit of adulthood. The need to “spread my wings” so to speak.
The glitch and storm are symbols of self-destructive doubt that get progressive worse as the story progresses. They only cease to exist once stray kids destroy the fictional world. There are three colours shown in the story: red, yellow and blue. Red represent confidence or frustration (miroh, hellevator) yellow represents fear (I am who, yellow wood) and blue represent calmness and realisation (I am you, levanter). Yellow has links back to the real world and their school days (bus, yellow balloons, yellow flowers). Instead of positivity, this color has become associated with fear because remembering the past accumulates doubt about the future.
There are three keys shown on the twitter map, one for miroh, yellow wood and levanter. These are the three sections to the ‘cle’ series (key series). The key idea refers to different points in someone’s life, that feel like they’re locked away for the future. After the final chapter in the story was concluded with levanter, their first official concert was titled, ‘unlock’. This is because a great realisation has unlocked itself. I don’t exactly know why there are 9 keys shown in double knot or why there are keys in chronosaurus and side effects.
Note: occasionally there are parallel universes shown to entertain possible outcomes of decisions. These representation are open ended so we might continue to see parallel versions of skz in future mvs or they might start a new project soon.

Stray Kids rebellion most-likely connects to the VCR in their unlock concert, as seen in their unveil tracks, teasers that have been released as of now, contains SKZ starting a rebellion and destroying the fictional world and coming back to the place where it all began (district 9) since they are now ready to save the ones who were left behind, the rebellion is against the social conformity of our society.

I genuinely believe that Felix is the 'Broken Compass' because in the choreo's you of ten see the members following Felix's hand and Felix is the only one with a compass in the music video's (take note that up until Levanter the compass Felix has is broken) and he is also the one who suggests they walk in the teaser for Side Effects but in Levanter Felix is fixing something (the compass) that means he's fixed the compass so he says "it's all good now" to associate the fact that the compass is now fixed and they will not be travelling aimlessly anymore.
Regarding I.N i believe they lost the real one in Astronaut and have had the clone with them since then. I think the 'goverment' sent the clone to confuse the boys into thinking that was the real I.N because the real I.N knew the truth or had atleast some type of suspicion about what was going on.
The version of Stray Kids in Double Knot is a third universe. If you remember in Levanter the two moons collide together signalling the creation of what i believe is a 3rd universe where Double Knot exists. In Double Knot stray kids are trying to find their way, in that universe I.N doesn't exist (what i believe) because in the universe where all of stray kids other mv's exist (apart from hellevator because that's where their reality or the first universe is) they dob't have the real I.N at the moment of the third universes creation hence him not existing in it. God's Menu also exists in the same universe as Double Knot (it's like a sequel)(but at the end of the music video *7* members are seen walking to the backdoor.
In the In Life teaser Stray Kids are seen standing infront of a door guarded bu bodyguards. The people in the background all look the people in District 9 (possibly meaning that stray kids have noe found out the truth that I.N is a clone and are now going to rebel against the governmen he name STRAY KIDS REBELLION) Behind I.N the person looks like Changbin, possiblymeaning that they have found the clones the government has made of them. Inside the building they show *7* members running, further proving that I.N doesn't exist in this third universe. The show a watch showing how time has now stopped (also in both Double Knot and God's Menu the moon is red further proving that they exist in the same universe). The *7* members are running inside a building which is similar to the one shown in Hellevator probably showing that the version of Stray Kids standing outside (from the second universe where all mv's apart from hellevator, double knot and God's menu exists) have found a way to contact the version of stray kids that exist in the 3rd universe and are now both aware of what the government is doing.
So they decide to go back to the Hellevator building where Jisung first thought or created the new reality (universe 2), they go back to the place where it all began to end it but somehow the government knew and guarded the door (i believe the clone of I.N told them, like he was sent to sabotage them from finding the truth) to the building because it's a portal to the 3rd universe. It's the backdoor that was constantly refrenced to in mv's such as 19 (they had BACK spelled out and a door next to it).
The back door is the portal that could end everything the government has created.

I don't have any theory about the EX trailer but i'm going to watch it again to see, but I think it doesn't link to the story line just like Get Cool. But I think it's about being ghosted? I'll let you know if I have any :)
@@hylh04but I do have a theory of how the government was initially watching and keeping track of them. If you have noticed camera's are a common theme in SKZ's muisc videos, like My Pace for example. Stray Kids are constantly seen looking at them and breaking them so I think they were aware of the government keeping tabs on them and tried their best not to be seen by the camera's

This vid is so underrated and deserves more views. This is the most convincing conspiracy theory I've heard about the MV and lyrics' storyline and it's kinda sad that not that many people have seen this.
I got goosebumps...... I now realized that I was just listening to songs without even understanding their meanings and I can't believe they are so much talented ........... I am really going to watch each and every MV of stray kids because I am really curious now.....

@@husnaaqillah3471 The buses just represent their past and they continue to use the bus as a close item and the moons could be from each choice they make. That's why one was white and the other was red. Red may symbolize their bad decisions and white could be the decisions they're making now (or good ones).

This theory is the closet I think that we have ever got to piecing the story line together. I love the way Stray Kids' minds work, the fact that the music videos all have a storyline makes me just want to solve it so bad. This theory has an amazing amount of leverage. I think we almost got it STAY :)

This is so helpful . I’m sure it was just a coincidence but in the robert frost poem Road Not Taken there are the words another day and stray kids now have a song called another day and I’m wondering how far in advance they thought of this
I was just watching Lonely St and probably everyone has noticed this before but me, but at the beginning Felix runs his hand on the clear box. You can't see if anything is in it. The next shot of the box, Hyunjin is in it. It's like Felix put Hyunjin in the box to freeze him to death. I also noticed the bandage that's on Seungmin's hand, is on I.N's eyes later and it's stained a really fake pink. Then Han looks like he catches something in the air in his hand. After that, they all look like they are dying. And when it shows them all laying on the ground and Lee know sits up and the others "died" in that universe, not all of them are dead. Seungmin has his head propped up on his hands like he's relaxing and Han and Chan have their arms crossed. I.N's are placed on his chest on top of each other too. So, did Seungmin give I.N that bandage because whatever was on it would save him? And did the thing Han caught save him? I'm not sure about Chan. Either everyone already knew this stuff or I'm nuts, right?

I would also suggest watching Bookish Theories' videos on SKZ storylines too. Most of what was said in your video is similar to what she talked about in her videos.

felt like analyzing the skz lore tonight and this really helped me piece together all the scrambled bits of information i could recall lol.
i find it interesting that in the highlight reel it’s stated that they’re their true selves now and that they’ve gotten rid of all insecurity, which is obvious by the amount of confidence depicted in both god’s menu and back door. however, I feel like in back door they hint back at the concept of choice (i.e the amount of doors in that one scene) and also there’s a similar description of the place that the back door leads to and district 9 (a safe place where not everyone can be, meant for people astray). so given all this, i have a feeling that whatever comes next is either gonna show some regression in their journey/confidence in their choices; or a whole new chapter that reflects their feelings towards the huge success and popularity they achieved during these confident eras (perhaps even a mix of the two, they feel insecure now that they’re in this position and they’re playing in the ‘big leagues’).

This is why stray kids is my role model. Not everything can go the way we expected or wanted to it be but they can still see the good in it. They are willing to escape the expectations of society these days and the world taking them away from themselves making them lose themselves.

it makes so much sense! I looked up what two moons means, and it said that it potrays unhapiness and that the person(s) seeing the two moons, needs to make a fateful decision. And since the sun split up into two moons, when Han didn't accept the changes, that would mean that this decision just brought unhapiness and see how the two moons became the light again when they destroyed the fantasy world? So I think the message is that not letting the past go will just make you unhappy and you only can be really happy if you go on in life and accept the changes :3

really good explanation, but thinking about it, let's say that presumably, they "get out" at the end of Levanter, that God's Menu reflects their now gained confidence, but (just playing with my imagination an the things i understand from the video), seems that, in Gods Menu, they kinda now have gained some control over that "imaginary world" they were in, at the start of the MV, we see all 8 of SKZ every one in a "different reality" with their own... servents(?, then Changbin almost glitchs into the kitchen escene, later in the video we can see how they can teletransportate between realitys (some of them very similar, like in the part when Chan sings the "idea bank" thing), and also they can make "servants" appear (in the chorus part), also, they seem to be building an producing things in the background, like preparing for something.
So, some people that i have read said that looked like SKZ were preaparing a kind of revolution againts the "dream reality" they where in. So, lets keep this idea.
i see some mentions about some "back door" in the Levanter MV i think, so, what if SKZ prepared the rebelion on Gods Menu, then in Back Door the are entering back to fight against the clones, and thats what we see on "All In", because it seems like they are chasing clones of themselves (this idea was taked from other comments in this video, is not originaly mine).
and Maybe the next CB whe get the outcome of that revelion... or maybe a unexpected (dark) twist? (cause on "All In" seems like the "chased SKZ" are the ones that are winning)

I was wondering the same. At first it seemed like skz were referring to some comments made by stays abt jeongin never growing up and them never letting him leave behind this phase of life, but later we realised this could probably reffer to them indicating in some alternate reality jeongin has probably still not graduated. After all choice and time are one of the most talked abt concepts in skz discography apart from growth and sacrifice

h x n e y k o o k myyyy personal theory is, you know that highlight reel which they uploaded before go live right? they left out 'i am who' which i think they tried to answer in god’s menu. they sing about their 'tang' which is their (music?) taste and that’s how they find themselves yk
Many theories says that God's menu is an introduction to their new selfs, showing us that what was considered as weird and different in the past ( district 9, I am not...) has now became unique and it is what made them successful . All of this after they changed and that change led to the unification of the two moons and the many universes. The result was the true them in God's menu as I said earlier. Nobody noticed the old man on their MV's The old man is on StrayKids MV he seems to follow them everywhere they go like at MIROH he was one of the "Rich guys" and the bus driver from Yellow wood did you notice he has a Hook tattoo like the old man from All in he's there you can tell it's him because he has the hook tattoo and at the backdoor MV one of the "Rich guys" were there switching the switch I have the feeling their bad guys trying to take StrayKids and bring them back to District 9 you can also see that on Backdoor MV their are two StrayKids like at All in MV their are also two StrayKids but the other one is slowed like they were glitching and at the Backdoor MV at I.N's part there were in a white place full of doors they were like in a maze full of only doors Like what was explained earlier about the meaning of MIROH Maze and H combined = MIROH did you also notice at StrayKids performance at Kingdom finals they Formed the letter H make sense right and also the title of Straykids song "Wolfgang" they're like wolves they go everywhere and hunt but what are they hunting or who are they hunting? and also at StrayKids song going dumb you can tell the meaning of the song so easy the lyrics goes like "you got me going dumb" you can see that the claw machine was glitching and about the claw machine it's familiar right because at one of Straykids video there was a claw machine
