High surf and high tides in

It’s a spectacular show but the combination of high tides and high surf creates all kinds of hazards on the central coast. This video was taken from Shell Beach on December 23rd, 2023 where the worst of the damage was some unexpected ocean showers for people who got too close. But dangerous surges led to multiple rescues elsewhere in Pismo Beach, Oceano, Cayucos and other coastal communities.
