I imagine it's not that guys don't like her music, but rather they just don't know about her work.

I remember it when it first debuted I had to buy a second CD because I played the first one to much and ruined it. Having Irish Celtic roots this was beautiful to hear and I still remember where I was when I first heard it. Many men do like this but don’t say anything unfortunately. One of my favs for sure.
I didn't realize there was a gender divide on this artist. There's actually a number of metal bands who cover Loreena.

Amazing! One of my favorite songs ever. I Love your (male) vocals to this! It maintains the integrity of the original and continues its haunting ambiance.
So I haven't been able to stop listening to this since I discovered it. In fact, I might even like it better than Loreena McKennitt's original. Is that blasphemous to say? If you're taking any requests for your next cover, I would absolutely love to hear your version of "Orinoco Flow" by Enya, and the theme song to the 80's fairy fantasy movie Legend called "Loved By the Sun" by Jon Anderson/Tangerine Dream. Very nice!! I have a low singing voice for a woman; the original is too high for me and dropping an octave sounds too rough. It's great to hear this in a male voice. Beautiful!

Thank you so much! And you are right actually haha. I had to do it because the karaoke track didn't include it. I noticed as soon as I was recording, but I couldn't change the track unfortunately.
