I plan on my carryon being close but under 7 kilos and a small backpack. I plan on bringing 5 lithium batteries used in power tools but I’ll carry them either in my pocket or in the pocket of my Winter overcoat. What was your experience at both check in and at the gate with regards to their checking baggage weight? I had a bad experience traveling on Qatar airlines last October, Bangkok to Dallas, and they were checking the weight of both the carryon and backpack.

The only good thing about EVA economy on a B777-ER, is that EVA has the 3-3-3 seat configuration, so it's not as cramped as the 3-4-3 seat configuration on other airlines like ANA.

Honest review. I just flew from LAX to TPE and the flight was meh. Here are my thoughts: mediocre food, horrible movie and TV show selection, charging port is incredibly weak and can't use while charging as it will actually lose power while plugged in,, leg room is mediocre, bathrooms are filthy and toiletries not refilled, frequency of drinks service is infrequent. But I'm just glad I got here in one piece. 😊
I love Eva air! Im a gold member so I always get an exit row window seat free of charge. I used to fly Eva Premium Economy, but they are overpriced as of now.

Funny you say that, I agree, the PE product is now way overpriced which is a real shame. The PE Cabin feels quite exclusive, but as the baggage allowance is now the same as Econ on many routes, there's not as much value in it.
