IKR! I thought RUclips defaulted to 240p for some reason and then I tried to manually change the resolution. LOL! Even in 2009, this is kinda pathetic!
Got this literally an hour ago. I haven't gotten to making my own stuff yet but... Jesus Christ, amongst the crap that we qualify as "games" from nowadays, this is a masterpiece. Original, innovative, fun, creative, joyous, musical, If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this must be worth over...ah hell, over 9000 words! Over 1000000 words! Oh wait, um...Over 5000000 words! There that one hasn't been used yet...
LBP PSP is amazing. I loved every second of it on the PSP and even re-downloaded it to my Vita because I wanted to fill the hole that LBP Vita left in my heart. I'm not saying the Vita version is bad, I like it, but LBP PSP gave you more costumes, stickers, objects, and creation tools than the Vita version did. And isn't that just a little sad.
Yes, although there is heavy focus on creating levels and stuff it also focuses alot on playing with other peoples creations. I haven't ever made a level and I still enjoy just as much as someone who does! It's really great either way and I don't think that should be a big deal. It is also really easy to learn how to create stuff as I have started making my own level and have been learning nice and fast.

@franzken yes, but that is because its on a console, not a handheld. the fact that you can bring lbp virtually anyware is one thing that makes this game so good.
Got this game today. The level editor is really deep and interesting, there's a lot to remember, but the tutorials are really well done. and i'm enjoying it a lot so far.
@SetaoReborn no, on the information that Playstation have announced, theres an asterix, and it says that the multiplayer isn't available if you get Killzone:Liberation (on the PSP of course) for free with the Welcome Back Programme
I heard some bad credit towards this game but I ahve to say it looks like a very fun and random environment and I love creation, the very reason I loved Smash Bros Brawl's stage creator, the fun never ends when there's always something new to do.
yeah i know, i cant wait! but until then i shall be playing this on my vita, the music, the levels, it really does bring a tear to my eye, i remember all the memories playing all the levels ^_^
5 lbp psp (bad creating expierence) 8.5/10 4 lbp ps vita ( just like ps3 but no creating together but good story) 9/10 3 lbp (great gameplay, unlimited creativity, but REALY BAD MATCHMAKING) 9/10 lbp (flawless, fun story, good create mode, super good matchmaking and more) 10/10 lbp 2 (evrything good from lbp 1 but improved upon, best story from the lbp games, most improved create mode, best matchmaking out of the series, best community) 10/10 best of playstation for sure.
@iwhiterocks101 they might do, as one of the line up games for Sony's NGP ( psp 2) was littleBIGplanet, alongside others like uncharted and killzone. Considering that Sony said the NGP's graphics and processor will rival the PS3, I think the next LBP portable will be just as good, if not better, than LBP 2
@DestinyHeroFlamer it really depends on what types of games U'd like to play i think both are good ,, the psp has a bunch of great games as well as ps3 so all U have to do is to check out the games on both systems and then decide which one is UR FAV
@SuperEdj You could try and update it via the internet. (Depends if your Memory stick has enough memory) Or Plug it into the main thus giving the PSP more power.
i do agree but remember this game came out in 2009 and the vita version came out in 2012 so they had alot of time to perfect it and make it an even greater game
Same here, it's the second LBP game i've ever completed (the first one was LittleBigPlanet Karting) and it was really fun. I even found it more fun than the objectively better PS Vita LBP game. It might just be because I have a soft spot for LBP1 but idk.
@sonicblast19 I really only play Platformers, Action games, and RPGs from its first iteration. Racing, fighting, fps, and sport games generally just get better and aren't as story driven so I don't feel a great need to go back unless I really liked the story and want to back tract to get the full experience.
just got a psp and i always wanted this game, but didn't have a playstation but i just realized that this game would be on psp! :DDDDDDDDDDD SOOO EXCITED!
I think it is revolutionary because there are four people running through a multiplayer level at once and secondly your right the wii is capable of multiplayer, but with this particular title it is not. Just because brawl and conduit had multiplayer doesn't mean every game on the wii can necessarily handle it.
@hippobrawlin the ps3 i played the pre-made levels in game. the psp version was the demo i played around two (again, pre-made) levels and just deleted it. just felt like any other platformer. i'm probably not the creative type this game was made for.
Go on the psp menu, and hover over the UMD (game) and click triangle when a thing comes up on the side saying tringle=options, click triangle, and go down to update, hope this helped(:
It's a cool game if you like to create your own stuff. I'm not that into it, but my 13 year old brother is. And that's who your talking to. He's just trying to get a rise out of people and I see he succeeded. Also, LBP on the psp has sold quite a bit, so it can't be too bad for most people.
@TheCube110 It won't connect to the community moon if you're using an ISO and running CFW. Why? Because CFW doesn't update, and the game needs to update. It wouldn't be a problem if you'd download a newer version of the game. If you actually DID buy the game from PSN, then all you have to do is hit triangle over the game icon and press x on "Update". It should work after it's finished.
Ah , when you download stuff's for this game are they free? I'm about to buy this on PSP and have played it on a PS3 , and how many levels are on this PSP version?
@Flunkorg LittleBigPlanet is over 40GB -_- DVD is limited to 9gb (lmfao!) SO you'll need like 4 discs to play this game(lmfao!) As Mm said,LBP2 is only possible on PS3(lmfao!)
Greg was nit picking the game, it was hard for studio cambridge to fit a multiplayer component in and who cares about the load times, really its about the gameplay experience not about how long a game takes to load. kudos to Greg for still giving it a great score although 9.4 would be the score I would have given it
@DavidCunningham1988 can u help me on my psp whenn i go on welcome back on the left the welcome back picture apears but on the right where u view games and stuff, nothing apears in the boxes and it says no content was found. do u know anything about that?
@toneset it's just a thing, when ign was just starting out they mentioned cod ALOT but now they dont do it too much people just rant that ign used to do it and still sometimes does it
@sonicblast19 Only the demo? The full game (Game of the Year edition) with some dlc is only like 20 bucks now. Its totally worth it. Or, if you wanna spend a little more, get LBP2, which I hear is brilliant as well. But don't over look the first game just cause the second's out, there's enough love for both.
Only played the PS3 demo, but OMFG it's a brilliant game,I don't know but I think it's made bya genius. In a world full of Call of Duties or Battlefields this is an unique game worth playing.Oh and btw check out Rayman Origins too ,another great game.
ok ill tell you my situation and you give me your opinion ok. i was gonna buy an ipod but then i thought about gaming also i have the 360 already so ya. and when im in class i want to listen to music and my brother is probably gonna buy the ps3 so what should i get ?
It has been said already by the developers themselves that LBP wont have sequels but more like more aditions to the original game instead. They said it would be unfair for the people that have bought all the DLC for the game.
@deltacruiser10000 The PsP version isn't bad, but it's incredibly glitchy. When you're making a level you'll find that things fall apart at random, it freezes a lot, etc.
@erikmiller11 that happen to me too what i do so that it dont freeze? i do somthing uncomplicated or not too complex but only for creating a map but if on story i dont know
probably LittleBigPlanet on my ps3 or super mario galaxy they're both fun and simple can't wait for ModNation Racers it combines mario kart and littleBigPlanet thta's like my dream game a kart racer with a level creator
but i have a 360 and dsi but it sucks lol i dont know should i get the psp because i want the water pack for little big planet but is that gonna come out for the psp version ?
I now have a reason to by a PSP. LBP is the only reason I want a PS3 but it isn't enough for me to want to buy one. I'm sure I could get a Cheap used PSP somewhere.
That 240p quality
Is a 2009 vídeo hahahaha
@@FlaxXGD.- there was full hd back then
,_,
The PSP's resolution was only 480 x 272.
@rus778 there was an HD psp? Interesting
I got my first handheld with this when I was 8. I played it once in a bit but still kinda miss the times when I did tbh.
I give it a 9.5/10
Holy Crap their max resolution is 240p.Jesus Christ.
IKR! I thought RUclips defaulted to 240p for some reason and then I tried to manually change the resolution. LOL! Even in 2009, this is kinda pathetic!
Vaibhav Shah "Kinda". There was already Full HD back then
lmaoo
This gives me memories when I played my psp and I remember the levels I made were fun but my psp wont work anymore and I lost the game somewhere ;[

Big facts
Me and my sis just love playing the PS3 version. I can not wait for this one!
Did you enjoy it?
Just bought a psp for £15 (needed a new battery) and this game. So much fun, even in 2022.
agreed!
Try Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker! That is my favourite game on the PSP

I'm not much into creating my own levels. Can I still enjoy a Little Big Planet (any one of them) if I just play the stuff that's already been made?
+Veselin Krastev Yes
Yes, although there is heavy focus on creating levels and stuff it also focuses alot on playing with other peoples creations. got it today for £20 loving it already, steven fry doing voice over :D great game, well worth a buy.

@pavyorspatiger Is it an ISO running on CFW? Or did you download this legitimately from PSN?

Awsome review ign

@ziggy0434 it is on the playstation store and if you buy a new psp go it has a voucher for it.
i got this and modnation racers, not played any yet but the reviews suggest i probably should have got killzone liberation instead of modnation?
@vuur150 does it take up alot of space?

Hearing the line "no multiplayer" just made me discard all thoughts of buying this game. Multiplayer is what made little big planet the most fun.
