- Checking out the new M12 impact wrench. This is not my official review for this tool but my first impression is its very light and I was impressed that it could break loose what it did and have that much battery life left. I started with a 4.0 battery at full charge and the tool was used in mode 3 through the whole video.

He actually used the tool in a min/30sec into the video! No long 10 min story about what he had for breakfast or what he used to do at an old job, just a quick summary and right to work. This gotta be some kinda world record. Appreciate the video bro
They gotta run the video 10mins to get more ads in
@@Shmack_ that's cool as long as the filler content is at the back half of the video or mark where the topic information starts
This is exactly what every tool review should be like. Open box, put battery in, put it to use. Let the tool do the talking. Thank you so much, keep up the great work.
It is a strange question to rate the “weight” of this unit because it is basically a giant torque electric motor on the end of a handle- so yes, it is top heavy. I’ve had the chance to use it a couple times to remove tires and wheels and it works great ruclips.net/user/postUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K There are three torque settings so that you don’t overdo it and strip a lug. Very happy with it, especially with the price of buying it as a bare tool.
Damn! So much power coming from a little thing. Just like my wife tells me.

That thing is a beast.

I swear i jus did wheel work today on my pickup truck n now RUclips is showing me tools . It's like i am being watched..lol

Some kind a bullshit is following me, i did the same thing and later this appears on RUclips, and advertising of air impact guns on facebook! Crazy men!

Mike Point it won't matter how good our tools are when the government puts us all in FEMA CAMPS to harvest our toenails to appease the lizard ppl pulling the strings
Who'd a thought!
Nice, this would be a great one to keep on the van for emergencies. I got the big ass M18 1/2" impact myself for the big jobs but I bet this would cover 99% of what I'd run in to out and about. Cheers!

I used Milwaukee impact drivers and drills for plumbing build-outs, they're beasts. We ran hole saws with them. If you snagged a nail it would either take your arm to a place it didn't wanna go, almost dislocate your wrist or go flying out of your hand.
Mint video thanks - I appreciate you letting us know that you’re not a shill, I stayed for the whole video once I found out you bought it with your own money. Thanks again, this kind of video was exactly what I was looking for.
Man! I know you stated it was not your offical review as of now But! I Too am Impressed and Like ALREADY!!
That small tool has some big balls! Nice demo. -Glen
Ozzstar my ex used to say that a lot. Wonder what she meant
Great video!..was on the fence about this tool..until now
I have the 3/8 inch variant and it's definitely surprisingly powerful.
I'm addicted to these tiny and stubby impacts from Milwaukee
I love them stubbys, and the mil 12v drill and impact are great little rigs that are small enough to fit and they're light and ez to run around with.
1 MILLION VIEWS, GREAT JOB!! It's already known that you make excellent videos, but I think people are missing out on how you respond to negative comments; funny and PRICELESS, LOL!
Shhhh, Im trying to keep my ignorant side under wraps. Lol

That bumblefuck does not like Milwaukee. He is riding Makitas dic.
I love this tool. Complete badass in every way
Appreciate the "disclaimer" at the beginning. Great video, I'm a DeWalt guy but seeing the stubby @ work has gotten me thinking about um. Thanks again!!
I have dewalt and when I got this I was blow away at how much stronger this was
Good demo, great powerful tool
Good video. Straight to the point. Thanks
The M12 High Capacity batteries are really long lasting and very well made and they also work great for standing the impact wrench straight up!
Had mine for about 3yrs now I think. Still use it almost daily.
Definitely want this for my next M12 tool! Recently got the Fuel drill/driver kit that comes with a 2.0 ah battery and a 4.0 ah pack and I love it. So much more power than you'd expect from 12 volts! I narrowly picked it over Makita's 18v Subcompact model. I'm glad I did, the M12 system has all kinds of handy tools from these torque-y impact wrenches, to a Dremel-style rotary tool (that accepts Dremel accessories) to oscillating multitools, to all kinds of lights. Living in the Northeast and working outside quite a bit, I might consider investing in a heated jacket too. My bank account wouldn't be too happy with me though lol
Trust me you wont be disappointed with this tool
This is you best skit to date. I kid
I’m excited to get mine, already ordered the 1/2 and 3/8 version
I got the mid-torque 1/2" drive fuel model. I wouldn't mind having this stubby version in 3/8" drive.
Love Milwaukee's Fuel series... Great tools!
Wow, I'm impressed. I didn't expect it to break the axle nut off. I'm definitely considering one of these.
I was there in person and have to say it really has a great punch. When it took off the lug nuts on our works trucks I was shocked.
I'ma get it in the 3/8" in the next two or three months for work under the hood, brakes, etc.
I'ma get the 1/2" mid torque for luf nuts and heavier things. As for axle nuts I'ma have to use a 3/4" breaker bar and cheater pipe til I get enough money for a 3/4" impact
kingkong8974 that mid torque is more than capable of removing axle nuts
kingkong8974 if you watch some mid torque videos (2861) there’s a guy who removes every fastener except one Honda crank bolt. I think the mid torque will be able to do everything you want it to unless you work on heavy machinery.
@@bradleybiederer8796 to take off the Honda crank bolt all he had to do was order the special heavy socket and that would break it loose super easy
That’s on my must get tool list now....👍
Wow broke the axle nut impressed!!
I've gotten a lot of use out of my DeWalt 20V 1/2" impacts. The first one lasted about 3 years before the housing started to crack. It still works but I went ahead and upgraded to the brushless 20V with 1,200 lbft of breakaway torque. I haven't run into many things this impact won't break loose.
Impressive, thanks for posting.
I’ve been running one for almost two years now doing steam service on PRV’s , steam traps, strainers and valve rebuilds, it’s my go to impact, 4.0 batteries are awesome too
I needed this comment. I myself work on the same components in Sterilizer/Autoclaves and bulk washers. Needed a tight space tool that a pipe wrench can’t get to, or simply getting off the top of a steam trap as mentioned. At the universities I service, some traps haven’t been taken apart in DECADES.
@@AbsolutelyCursed I still have the same impact, the 4.0 batteries are still running. I’ve had some issues with a pair of 6.0 batteries, I don’t currently recommend that battery.
I still enjoy going through the big F&T traps that were on tube heat exchangers, I would blast and paint the covers different colors and the year would correspond to a year. But blasting and rebuilding stuff and returning old iron to service was the best.
Thing is a beast! Now I gotta go get me one tmrw
So glad I bought one of these.
I didn’t realize this thing could take off an axle nut. That’s sick! I have the 3/8” version but probably wouldn’t use it on a nut that big
That thing works Wow !!!
Wow, just the type I need for suspension work!
David Trevi ruclips.net/video/E2L6fXllrcE/видео.html
Is its fastening job is good enough? Or you need to overtighten the lugnuts witha amanual wrench after that?
Awsome jeep I got an orvis myself, subbed
Calvin Graham nice! I just replaced the steering gear box on my ZJ the other day with this gun. feel free to check out that video here

What a awesome tool I might have to get one
Its in almost all my repair videos. Good purchase!
Whats the difference between the milwaukee fuel line and the non fuel? I have a 1/2 impact wrench by milwaukee but it isnt a fuel and its always done me fine.
Good tool thanks
Absolute beast
She's a beast!
awesome vid, my dude..!!
i only have m18 fuels but i feel like buying into the m12 just because of the size they can fit almost anywhere
I just bought the dewalt XR high torque impact. Its strong. But its really bulky and heavy. This video makes me reconsider my purchase
Don't. This thing is only rated for like 200lbft. It's useless in the real world.
Very impressive nice video man
Milwaukee makes some kick ass tools.
I REALLY wanna see videos of mechanics using these tools to remove the front end suspension parts off a 2007-2016 Ford expedition el. The lower bolt on the front shocks are torqued at 400 ft-lbs.
There’s no way, it wasn’t able to take off the lower strut bolt on a Rav 4
I bought this fucking thing based on this review. Its gotten me through so much bullshit at my side gig that doesn't have the proper tools.
When I get down to pull off a wheel there is nothing I like to see more than solid one piece lugs.
Wow nice little gun
Oh man, you really know how to make a man drool over the power tool... well, now I want one.
Does it come with the battery or you have to buy it separately??
O ive got to get meself one of these awesome tool great video 👍
Hey bro. Great video and to the point.
What's the difference between the m12 and m18?? And can you bust suspension nuts, balljoint with a 3/8" stuby??
what a beast!!!
How do you know what torque you are tightening them to.?
The axle nut test sold me
Buying me one perfect for my jobs
Better too have this version with the friction ring or the other one that has the pin detent. Like does this version, do the sockets fall off during jobs when upside down or vise versa.. thx
I'm impressed!
That axle nut was impressive for a 1/2" Stubby. I was unable to break one loose using the Milwaukee Mid-Torque. It was on a Gen 3 Honda Odyssey likely over-torqued and I live in the Northeast U.S. where corrosion is an issue. I had to use my old Japan made Craftsman 1/2" pneumatic to break the axle nut loose.
Not just a stubby, it's a 12 volt stubby, crazy.
Not really impressive if you dont know with how much forced they put it on. I use breaker bars to tighten my axle nut
Yeah, the north East in the rust belt is really fun. Lol
Ran into similar issues with my mid tourque, couldn't do caliper bracket bolts on a civic.
Was looking for the M18 but was shown this M12 at a shop I went to.Was skeptical how useful it might be until I saw this. Now seriously considering this instead of the M18 cause the M12 sure felt light when I held it in the shop&felt like it would be a lot easier to work in cramped spaces...:-)
Simply amazing what those battery powered impact drivers can do..when the parts your working on are new and free of corrosion!
Have you stripped any bolts or NUTTZ while using? ??
Very impressive!
Looks good but I’d like to see it used on something a bit more rusted up
Nice.. thank you for sharing.
Sockets make a big difference also. If you have a quality set of impact sockets the gun can do its job even better.
Where did you get your socket set from?
Back to the Original BG.
Your last video Wing It was great ....
Hows it held up over 2 years? I'm trying to convince my pops to leave Air guns behind but he's stubborn
Wow this is nice, I really want one lol and the 3/8 aswell 😍
I don't see a need for both... they are the same max torque. i chose the 3/8" because i have more 3/8" sockets. I'll just adapt to 1/2" if needed. I have the m18 1/2" for the big stuff though.
@Ryan Williams adapters are nice, but they add length which defeats the purpose of having a stubby. If i find myself using 1/2 inch sockets often, I'll just buy the 1/2. The 3/8 has done everything asked of it so far.
Impressive might have to get one.. 12v too wow.
Where is that impact socket set from? Looks nice
I have the m18 but now I’m thinking 🤔 another trip to home depot 👌🏿
Impressive just impressive
Amazing 💪
Good shit, nice jeep too
Ranbecca Pachoty thanks
Great video ❤️🦾👍🏽
I just ordered the 3/8 version.
that tool a awesome beb,👍👍👍
Impressive, the 3/8s version doesn't seem to put that much punch but I only use it on small stuff for the most part, still fully charge after 2 months. I have a xr for bigger stuff, I bet the m18 will do ya good too though if you're in a shop environment air tools are the way to go.
I would like to test that in NYC in the Winter.
pulled a ford triton v10 with it, did a complete clutch removal on a celica gts, and a few brake jobs so far, just to see how well it would do, i dont plan on using it like that for long since its not what i bought it for, i have my 1/2 high torque m18 fuel impact for the big stuff
Im a big Milwaukee fan my self all my tool are milwaukee for just the speed and ease but i still hope Milwaukee comes out with even more powerful 3/4 and 1" guns then they have now....... im a heavy equipment mechanic for construction equipment. I would love to stop pulling out my heavy hose and 1" gun for just cutting edges.
I'm impressed compared to the older version.
Ragnar FoxTrot ruclips.net/video/E2L6fXllrcE/видео.html
There isnt any play or losseness where the socket goes on. That is great. I have an impact wrench that rattles too much when taking off wheel lug nuts because my tools has too much play in it.
Yes..we have same intro 😆😆
Got to get me one! 👍
