- This song was written by Phil Colclough, who is an English folk singer and songwriter. It was co-written with his wife June. Inspired by a trip the Colcloughs took to the Dingle Peninsula, it has been described as a "modern classic", recorded by numerous artists, including Mary Black, Ralph McTell, and the Dubliners to name but a few.
Very well done nice backing.
