Thank you, very informative!!
In the middle I think will work great
The color of the soap and the color of the rope match really well! Usually the rope is in the center of the soap, but in your soap it is at an angle, which makes it look more special and sensuous!
I used a stick to make sure it went straight down the centre of the bar with a mark on the stick for the same correct depth. Also use a much slimmer cord.
They turned out very pretty. I appreciate you sharing the challenges.
I found this video really informative! It really is a learning experience, I’m glad you showed us what not to do, as well as what to do. Thank you, great job.😘
It may surprise you how long they’ll hold despite the rope being off center. I make soap on a rope like this all the time. Looks great!
Love your videos, I cut my soaps first and then make the hole while the soap is wet. Pass the rope through and then make the knot.
I absolutely love all the products of yours I have tried 😍
Love watching your video's, I just finished watching Lisa from I dream in soap and she made a soap on a rope. Very informative if you wanted some information about how to position the rope in the soap. Cheers .
Maybe if you add the rope right before you add the 3rd layer you might be able to manage the direction of it. Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Darlene. Thank you for doing this, what a good daughter. Watching im writing as you place the rope, my one question is why you didnt centre the rope in the middle rather than the side.. have you considered a square soap in single moulds it would give more room and no cutting. The rope i agree needs to go all the way. One person making garden soap (you tube) used such a mould they looked great.
Loved the video, where did you get the mold, and how many pounds it holds. Ty for sharing
I am currently making soap on a rope, I went for 30mm wide bars, still trying to work out how to get the rope in the middle of the bar, I can get 9 out of 10 bars ok but still lose 1 or 2 bars per batch due to knot getting caught
what brand of mixer are u ising and where do u get it if u dont mind sharing
how long did your
