With a lot of patience and many hours of playing, using the box tool to create custom objects, I have been able to create incredibly intricate models including selves, slatted fences and brick effect walls. I'm very much enjoying using the app and look forward to seeing future feature additions. I'd love to see more outdoor plant options as well as the ability to change floor levels to individual rooms. I'd also love to see textures added such as wood flooring and brick walls.
One more time, it is an incredible intuitive and smartly created app. Just one suggestion: I created wall paintings using BOX (under General>BOX>thickess 1cm).. Can you add possibility to paste photo or texture on the surface of the BOX)..In that case we can create very nice wall paintigs...
Great app. It can be addicting. Some suggestions: (1) Allow Dimension objects to be grouped with other objects. I have a couch and coffee table grouped together and am trying them in different positions, and want to always show that they're 12 inches apart. (2) Allow snapshots to be saved, so I can reload a previous furniture arrangement and fiddle with it some more. I have an awkward living room and am trying a bunch of different arrangements. (3) Have a precise zoom control. The zoom levels with my mouse wheel are a bit random and it can take a while to get the zoom just right.

(3) Are you using the web version on your computer? In that case you can use +/- keys on the keyboard to have more precise control over zoom level.

If I zoom in and then out, it does not return to the same zoom level, but has a net zoom out. This seems like a bug to me.
Bro there's a trick with which you can make any window design yourself , just use the storage rack as window panel , adjust it and it's shelf spacing and everything

I had a feature idea! Maybe you could add a slideshow feature where we could set up camera points in each room with a pan angle (cone shaped) and we could create cinematic montages of our camera angles.
Speaking of height, would it be possible to set the height of each individual room? Ex. 18' tall garage but I dont need an 18' tall hallway adjacent to the garage, more like 8'-10'.
Click "Project" button in the toolbar and change "Exterior wall thickness" field to change thickness of all walls. You can also tap intrior edge of a wall and click the button at the top of the screen to adjust its thickness.

You can create a new floor and adjust its height of walls to make it smaller: click "Levels" button and then the button at the top of the screen that shows current height. I will try to add a proper roof creation tool in the future.
Amazing app! I think I have finally got thru most of the options without diving fully into the tedious stuff like electrical etc. I have just finished one of my major projects in the mobile app, and am fully impressed, and very proud of the detail I've created. The one thing I would really love to have is the ability to raise and lower "room" levels, and not just change ceiling height, unless there is a way to do that now that I just haven't discovered. I would like to go from my kitchen, down 2 steps to my dining room, and not have to jump to a whole new level as it is still considered the "main floor/ground level", like a sunken room. Is this possible or will this be possible soon? Also, I've successfully been able to use the cube shape with slope to create peaked roofs in my projects... but my only problem is that after I've raised them to ceiling height, they block the view of the rest of the floorplan in 2D. I'm wondering if there's a "hide" option that can be selected for when using shapes above ceiling height per level or something like that. Thank you! EDIT: Just discovered the vertical offset option in :levels:. Looks to be the function i am after. Could this function be applied per room as well as per level???
You could probably place your roof on another floor, so it does not hide rooms below. Split level floors are not possible yet and level offset will not help much. You could use it to get the correct result in 3d view, but you will have to place rooms on different floors (levels), so that is not going to look correctly in 2d. I will definitely try to add split level floors in the future. Thank you for the suggestion.
You can use the shapes like square and triangle to get the desired roof effect you want, just by adjusting the slope options and mirroring the shapes for peaks
@@kasan2272 you would make it in whatever level you are trying to cover. Just be sure to have your interior finished first, as the roof covers everything in 2D. You could group your roof pieces together and move them back and forth if you needed to edit something underneith

I really enjoy using floor plan creator but moving in 3d mode is quite hard. I would like to a human view, like walking through the house and not going through the wall. I would like it as another option because the current 3d view is helpful sometimes

There is no countertop object available, but maybe you could use Box object for that? You can adjust its height and vertical position in the edit dialog. Wall colors can be modified in 3d mode. I am planning to add textures in the future.
Another thing that i could suggest is that would you please add a curve window i mean a window just like a right angle window which can be use in the edge of the room or can be use from one side to another side of the room continously, another thing is make some needed furniture at home, a seiling light, wall designs like woods, tiles, and please make right angle objects like the triangle object you made, picture frames, gate, computer, glass, plates, spoon, bottle, toys, a window glass drawer, and a floor mat, and a knife. I will try to improve 3d image quality in the future. You could try to export 3d model as Wavefront .obj file, import that into 3d rendering program like Blender and create photorealistic, high quality rendering of your plan.
for friendly user and good for presentation please make the house or object in 3D to rotate by pressing one keyboard key. You only have left, right, zoom in, zoom out, up and down but rotate is missing you still need to use the mouse.
Can you add a walking option when in 3D mode? Like when walking mode is active you are level with the ground , can't go through walls, can go up and down stairs, through doors if they aren't set to closed in 3D. Also, female model, pet models (dog, cat, horse), different plants.
Oh and also to be able to have the levels different sizes (example, first floor is 12 feet from floor to ceiling, 2nd floor is the standard height from floor to ceiling) instead of both being locked at the same height

If you exported Wavefront .obj file from the application, then most 3d rendering apps (like Blender) should be able to open it. The easiest way to send a project to another person is it share it from the web version. Please open the following page: floorplancreator.net/gallery click menu button of your project and select "Share". Copy the link and send it to a customer. Clicking the link will open the project and your customer will be able to go to 3d view.

I think you should add the option to create rooms under staircases. Like powder rooms. Also everyday objects like mirrors. Clothes on hangers? An option to open closets. I saw the new update with the man, can you add a women and kids?
I'm on plan to build my home besides my mom's home, and this app do the job very well for a basic visual referrence. If i can suggest, it will be dope if there's a motorcycle in "outdoor" section, some people can't afford yet a car like me haha, at least i can afford this full version apps.

You can send project file to another Floor Plan Creator user, so he can import it and see 3d view. Please take a look at "Data backup" section in the help in the app. You can also share your project from web version: floorplancreator.net/help/sharing
I suggest you can use the square object to make walls and add it at the top of your room and use it also to make seilings, and dont forget to use void on the top floor above your room.
Click "Project" button and change "Exterior wall thickness" field to change all walls. You can also click interior edge of a wall to select it and then click the second button at the top of the screen to change thickness of the selected wall only.
- There should be an option to upload 3D models in the USER tab- so users can share and scroll down other user-uploaded sets and grouped 3D models that may fit well in each other's floorplans. It's getting tiring, building out furniture out of the box, and spheres ourselves. also with box, there should be an option to round out the corners. - We need textures

I was thinking the same thing.. maybe if there's not much option with textures, why not upload one ourselves with photos.

I use floor plan creator for 2 years. It's a great tool. Still, it's a pain in the butt to make roofs. I would love a roof editor❤️

Do you know how to save a copy of the 3D design for printing? I was trying to export jpg file but it's pixelated.

This app is great, I've been using it almost more than a year, but please would you please allow us to to screenshot for free without buying the full version, it is also the best way to share our works to inspire others, also it can help the your app to let others inspire to try and use it.

Tap a room to select it and click "Balcony" button in the toolbar. Columns can be created from "Cylinder" object or short interior walls. Please contact me at support@floorplancreator.net and I will try to help.

I am sorry, but variable height rooms / walls and not possible yet. I will try to implement that in the future.
I suggest you can use the square object to make walls and add it at the top of your room and use it also to make seilings, and dont forget to use void on the top floor above your room.
Can you add a background grid with a module that you can "draw on/snap to" when creating rooms or walls?
It is already available - you can enable it in the settings.

How to make the outer wall thickness less and more...i didn't find option
Click "Project" button and change "Exterior wall thickness" field to change all walls. You can also click interior edge of a wall to select it and then click the second button at the top of the screen to change thickness of the selected wall only.
- There should be an option to upload 3D models in the USER tab- so users can share and scroll down other user-uploaded sets and grouped 3D models that may fit well in each other's floorplans. It's getting tiring, building out furniture out of the box, and spheres ourselves.
also with box, there should be an option to round out the corners.

It is not possible yet to split one room into two. You can insert interior wall if necessary: drag "Walls" button on a plan.

That is correct. Most of the time, nested rooms are not necessary - please send me (support@floorplancreator.net) a sketch of your structure and I will tell you how to recreate it in the application.
