Totally agree... hard to argue that choosing a CR7 rookie is a bad choice vs. these two "super stars".... (or anyone else in the modern market, to be fair).... I think that it would get even more "crazy" if you go back and do other players in this light. Hypothesis.... Modric is the best value (with a market cap of less than $50k). I also bet that Zidane is super cheap on a market cap basis (as are so many others).... this is exactly how I think about it as well (the market cap philosophy)... but alas the market as a whole clearly does not.... great work as usual....
Alan Shearer only has 1 rookie card, graded a mere 180 times with PSA, 18 are a 10 and it sells for about £2 raw. He’s one of the best all time strikers & the premier leagues record goal scorer. Work that one out against modern prospects 😂
