As usual, well played Nick. Don't worry about the odd negative comments. As a drummer with over forty five years of experience I can hear and feel what you are doing. Keep on doing what you do. You do it well.
Guys, I watch your channel not just for what you teach me about products, but for what you teach me about music. The playing and analysis help me learn the nuances of sounds I should be aspiring to create. It certainly helps as well that your production techniques are so professional. Thank you for your truly excellent work.
There are so many great drum channels on RUclips these days, but even so, you guys stand out. Your reviews are clear and informative, played beautifully and recorded perfectly. A new video from you guys is always a delight, even when it's for a product I'm not especially interested in...although, hey, let's be honest: I'm interested in almost everything you guys review.
How about an in depth review of the sonor signature series drums? Specifically the hld-580 snare? I think I spotted one in the background in another of your videos. I really enjoy your content! Keep it up!
They sound absolutely superb ! I have the ride from this range, it fits well with my other cymbals (Paiste 3000 13" heavy-hats and Masterworks crashes).
Thanks for your excellent reviews ! Having been able to visit Ufip Pistoia factory, I must tell how vast the variety of sounds spring from their different series. Natural and Esp.1931 sound accurate and warm: they can meet any blues, jazz, latin drummer's wish... but Class Series (extra light, light and symphonic models as for me) unhesitatingly rival other makers' top series... (I also regularly play Zildjian K / Constantinople, Paiste Masters....). Class Series require very little equalization live or in studio. Really excellent bargains, considering their fair pricing !
i'm a long time ufip user, and that come with loving all the pros, but accepting all the bad too. they're not super versatile, however, in the right setting they're going to be the best sound for the situation. for jazz: go vibra or 1931 (maybe even the new blast extra dry thats been released.) for rock: bionic, natural, rough or blast series. for electronic: go for the extatic, tiger or experience. for pop: theres one line that suits it perfectly and thats class. of course this is all up for debate but i've been using them for the last 7/8 years now and this is what i've found. hope I was a help not a hindrance, good luck!
Ufip suenan espectacular!! Un marca con platillos profesionales de primer nivel, utilizó hithat 14” ufip natural, crash 16” ufip natural, crash 18” ufip natural y ride 22” ufip bionic… recomendados 100% versátiles y un sonido único…. ❤️🥁🥇🔥⚡️…. Saludos desde Santiago de Chile 🇨🇱
Please review the Pearl Midtown kit. And of course put Evans G2,EC2 or something similar to bring out the most in it. Emad? (I believe you guys should do this with any kit you review.)
I really enjoy listening to this cat throw-down on the drum-kit. Really good player. These UFIP Naturals sound really nice.. especially, for Jazz or Blues.
I disagree not a big fan of these cymbals. Sound, price range, appearance not for me and I like UFIP. If I had to pick it would be the 18" it was bright and quick. For this price range the big 3 have more to offer...😕
Would be really cool if you guys got different drummers in these videos. Nolly you know a lot of great drummers and could allow us to hear what these drums and cymbals sound like with different players and mixing styles
Sid Marks He's very much not one of the finest drummers I've ever heard. He plays a mixture of step-dad rock and step-dad jazz blended with some yawn and a heavy dose of hitting like a step-dad. His timing is all over the place, his fills are sloppy, and he is generally uninteresting. These videos are verging on being fantastic but they really need to get a world-class drummer to match the quality of the rest of the content.
@@jacobsmith1877 geez bro the point is to hear the stuff and you can hear it just fine with his playing. He's not awful and off beat or anything and does perfectly ok for what these videos are (not performance videos)
Jacob Smith - Way harsh, dude. He’s nowhere near as bad as you’re making him out to be. He’s not even bad; he’s really good. Though bringing in a bunch of different drummers is a cool idea, I’m not sure if Nolly could just get a bunch of random players to come and play stuff just for shits and giggles. I’m not sure how that process would work. Either way, these are some of the best, most honest product reviews I’ve seen on RUclips, and you could do WAY worse in the musician department when it comes to demos like these.
Ufip make the best splashes around.
That ride is gorgeous!
As usual, well played Nick.

i like them, have their own voice, dont sounds like the other famous companies.....

Thanks Stephen, kind of you to say so.. Thanks for watching/subscribing. Best wishes, DR
I really like the sound of that 22" ride, nice stick definition and that bell!

lajollascott glad you enjoy our content and thank you for your comments and watching/subscribing. Best wishes, DR
They all sound really nice! The ride has nice tone, that 18” crash is great!
Man I’d play the cymbals in second! They sound incredible! Thanks for the review Nollie, and Kudos, as always, to my man on the kit!

I love all those sizes, but I’m not sure I’m sold on the sound. That 20” crash sure is a nice ride though.
Yeah, I like those a lot ... remind me a bit of my vintage Toscos ...
Great review and - well - absolutely fantastic cymbals. Lovely musical sound. Those UFiP might suit me better than my HHX Evolutions. Thanks.

Can you guys review Saluda Cymbals? Thanks for the great channel!

The bell on that ride is killer!

Great review of a fine cymbal set. I really enjoyed the splash with it's gentle serpentine hissssss! :)
The best cymbals made!!
I really enjoy listening to this cat throw-down on the drum-kit. Really good player. These UFIP Naturals sound really nice.. especially, for Jazz or Blues.
That bell caught me of guard
I love my sounds of the UFIP Naturals via the EZD2 'Custom Shop' ezx
Any reason why the Natural Series China is missing????
Wish there was more stores in the us that carry ufip
An excellent review 🙏
Lindos!! Ótimo som!!!
Great review
Good, informative video and the cymbal demonstration solo was equally good.
I have the 22 crash ride and the bell is way better than the 22 displayed here. Not that this one is bad.
Those crashes are nice
Super!!

Interesting point but I think that Nick is one of the finest drummers you'll ever hear.
I think it helps their reviews to have a consistent drummer - allows for better comparison between videos
