    There’s a large adjustment screw you can turn on each shock/spring. Clockwise compresses the spring(shortening and stiffening) while counterclockwise releases and lengthens the spring for more travel,and ride height. I loosened the springs all the way which really increased the travel and softness. Now it rides buttery smooth. If you can get over the underwhelming low end power and braking, then it’s a fun ride with decent rough road capability on flat ground.

      The ride is definitely a high point, my stock setting was great. Thanks for coming in with that adjustment detail!

    Ok, this might be a beginner question 😂 but, with the 2 ports it comes with to charge, can I use the 54v charger it comes with, and a 24v charger I already have? Or should I only use the one it comes with?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  2 года назад

      Definitely only use the one it comes with. Basically a 48v battery operates from 39-54.6 volts hence the 54v charger. A 24v charger is usually ~26v, it will not push any power in, 0% for 48v is still above it's max. It could harm the electronics especially if the charger plug isn't wired the same. Hope this helps!

    Handlebar collars get loose on you?
    Like the solid tire at the back...when I rode the Zero 9 I got lots of flats and it was always the rear tire :(
    Looks like they came up with an awesome scooter :)
    Love child of the Zero 8 and Zero 9 :)
    How does it compare to the Uscooter GT SE? It looks like it would be slower? Am I wrong?
    The power looks quite a bit lower than a Zero 9
    I like the drum brakes though ...so much easier for maintenance :)

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  2 года назад +2

      The handlebar collars were rock solid on this one. This scooter is definitely slower than the Uscooter GT and Zero 9, over 1 second slower 0 to 100 feet and almost double the time getting up my hill of death. The brakes and solid tire really do add to the convenience and potential for little maintenance. It would be good to compare this to say the Varla Pegasus perhaps, if you get that chance! Cheers!

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  2 года назад

      Thank you! The ride is a huge upgrade for sure, you probably don't see a big range bump. What would you say is the biggest improvement over the S2 Pro and where don't you see an upgrade?

    • @pablonapan4698
      @pablonapan4698 2 года назад +3

      @@ElectronSurfer By far, the suspension. Before, I had to actively pay attention to the road/curb imperfections to avoid them, or to see if I had to brace myself. This was a huge disadvantage and risk as it drew my attention away from the most important things: other cars, other people, the scenery, etc. Now, my mind is liberated and I only focus on steering the scooter, pretty much like driving a car. This supension can take anything, it's easy to jump off the sidewalk, etc.
      Other big advantage is the damn good looks. Love the recessed lighting, the color and the double stripes. Range went nicely from 15 to 20 real miles. The adjustable handlebar is a nice to have and the blinkers, can't have enough of them. Speed went from 18mph to 23mph, nice upgrade too, leaves me wanting more, though.
      The cons: underwhelming performance and braking. The s2 pro with only 300w motor was punchy and had exciting acceleration, the vsett 8 with 600w is less than a 'meh'. Also brakes are low quality, they feel cheap and it takes a long distance to break.
      Overall, for $850, I'm having a pleasant and fast commute to wherever I'm going, and I'm having the best suspension for the price which makes me feel very safe on the road.

      Hey thanks for asking here you go, Vsett 8; 18 X 7.5 in (457 X 191mm) and Vsett 9; 23 X 7 in (584 X 178mm). To me, the angle of the plate on the back of the Vsett 8 made the length not feel as significant. So to my feel the 9 just feels a litte roomier.

      @ElectronSurfer  2 года назад +2

      I haven't reviewed the SE, just the GT. They are really pretty different because of the strong suits of both. To me the Etwow is super fun and super portable but rough ride depending on where you ride. The Vsett 8 has a great ride but not nearly as fun and agile. I think most people would pick the Vsett 8 over the Etwow but I would go the opposite as I really enjoy riding the Etwow's.

      @raylivengood8040 2 года назад

      @@ElectronSurfer agreed.
      For myself the E-twow is sort of the Swiss Army knife of scooters. It’s somewhat bizarre to me that the speedometer is off by a whopping 5mph. Voltage is only visible for some few seconds at power on. Cruise control was deleted, though I’m sure the controller has that feature..
      The Vsett is a good looking scooter, I’ll give it that 😁

      @@raylivengood8040 I really wish they would have kept cruise on the E-twow Gt, not sure why they didn't. I always felt like the display was really the weakest point of the scooter, not as many things you can change in there compared to something like the Vsett's. Cheers!

      @ElectronSurfer  8 месяцев назад +1

      I reviewed both scooters, there isn't a significant size difference between the two but the Vsett 8 is 4" shorter and 8 lbs lighter than the dual motor Vsett 9. Therefore these would be the projected ranges: 19ah ~ 26 miles and 21ah ~29 miles. If you weigh less you should get more range and if you weigh more less. I hope that helps.
