This guy is a genius.
I don't like/need such trailer, but I have to admit that it is a very smart/intelligent solution.

What a great set up for RTW! I would modify the trailer to 25" wide x 76" long and top flat enough to pitch a tent on it.
Up next, I take a cruise ship overlanding through the rocky mountains.
If you're going to cruise for miles and miles through mountains, it's an excellent idea, for extra gas, food, tente 👍👍👍

Very nice, and thank you for posting. FWIW: I like the detachable paniers, organized dry storage. The flat top is also nice for strapping down bulky items.
Having done some 2,000+ touring rides I really like not having the bike completely loaded down with my travel stuff...

Nice design & concept! Especially for long trip and roadtrip in duo. No more time wasted strapping things on the motorbike & fear of having unsecured items. And room enough to bring back souvenirs from trip!
Very cool, trailer must cost 1/2 of bike cost, that’s OK if that’s what you want.
I love it, gives you lots of options, like going multi day camping with my mountain bike,and if you want to get hard core, just disengage the trailer and go on an adventure ride

The only concern I would have is front ground clearance. It seems low in the front on that motorcycle, but I’m assuming that would be easy to remedy with by raising the hitch.

Неплохо, тоже думал о мото прицепе. Но задав себе много вопросов, и ответив на них. Сделал прицеп, точнее переделал из лодочного для авто, чтоб перевозить мотоцикл. На сегодняшний день мне показалось это лучший выход, - когда "все свое вожу с собой". Этим летом проехал 7тыс км. в составе авто поезда.

This kind of Moto trailer has been around a long time...
Great for those who want to take more kit if needed, that don't have the license for 4 wheels or hate cars. Very handy if you are a mobile mechanic or a rescue worker etc.

I love the concept! I'd take it a step further by using the same components from the bike that's going to be towing it, where possible. So in this case, make the trailer's wheel, shock and swingarm the same as the F800's. That's three less major components you'd have to provision from the middle of BFE if you were on a major adventure ride! Also, if trailer wheel had a sprocket and chain on it, it could be used to drive a generator mounted on the trailer and charge a deep cycle battery that could be used in camp at the end of the day.
I didn't even know such thing existed. Beautiful.

Because sometimes, you don't WANT so much luggage, you just NEED it. And 2 or 4 wheels is a personal choise.

Яркий пример как максимально не эффективно использовать пространство , а так идея прикольная.
Нормально там использовано пространство. Вы развесовку прицепа посмотрите? Я смотрю не пробовали? У всех что видел я, центровка крайне передняя с фокусом приложения веса в дышло( водило) прицепа. Другое дело в навеске кофров этого прицепа.
Very well done! Not sure as to the need but hey to each their own is my motto. I would think a larger trailer "box" out of plastic or aluminium that becomes a small camper base would be more useful.

C-Way, you shud not be discouraged by the -ve comments that people have left below. They are either competitors or just plain incompetent and unable to appreciate true engineering. I have scanned the market for mototrailers and each one of them that i found were 2 wheeled cargo carriers that certainly cant go off road. This one is very impressive. Is this on for sale? Can i get a quote? Thanks

Меня всегда забавляют подобные конструкторы :-) На мотоцикле в том то и кайф, что грубо говоря в трусах и тапках за горизонт. А если хочется взять такую кучу барахла с собой - то за эти деньги можно взять не большой паркетник или ниву.
KVV-TV на вкус и цвет всем фломастеры разные. Да и зачем ниву покупать для одной вылазки куда-то далеко, а в остальное время мотоцикл по назначению? Неразумно. Разумной прицеп к моту.
S Stalnyh я думаю с ценами на такие кофры резину и сам прицеп дешевле купить ниву))

Ну-ну, конечно! А далеко ты ездил? А я тебе по практике скажу, представь ситуацию когда едешь еще с нажопницей. Твой рюкзак личный вещей + её рюкзак личных вещей + теплые вещи + инструменты для мота + палатка и 2 спальника + запас еды минимум на 3 дня (аварийный) + хотя бы 2 канистры бензы по 5 литров + минимум литра 3-4 питьевой воды. При этом у тебя занято заднее сиденье. Это на простую поездку на 3-5 тыс. км вдали от цивилизации. А люди бывают и по 2 месяца в пути проводят. Так что что для тебя дальняк? Прокатиться 300 км и переночевать в отеле "all inclusive"?

Цена, как я понимаю в основном про кофры? Я видел ящики из нержа по 1000₽, для рыбалки. 400×320×200 мм. ! Может, можно купить и больше размером с завода. Ну обклеить шумкой/ мерилоном( паробарьер) и смонтировать пластиковые молдинги, замки, петли ручки.

and now check how much weight is actually allowed to be attachet to the bike subframe. There is a reason why commercial trailers (homologated in Europe at least) are attached to the rear wheel, not subframe. The concept is nice, but you will never be able to use it on public roads.

The cardan is positioned incorrectly.
This causes the trailer to fall over when making a short bend.
The vertical connection (pivot point) may not point towards the trailer but towards the motorcycle.

I found this while looking for an idea to tow a pet off-road trailer and this one is inspiring. So it can be done I just need a proper light weight dog trailer with a wheel and proper suspension.

My sons Ford Focus gets better mileage than my GS even with the A/C on plus it has reverse and cost half as much, so saving money is not possible. Good luck climbing hills and doing switchbacks. I can't imagine what you need a trailer for on bike.
