The paradox of Theseus perhaps doesn't have an answer (which one is the ship), and perhaps simply demonstrates the limits of human thought. If we want to define each ship differently we can (the ship currently being used by Theseus and the ship made of old planks that were replaced on said ship) we can distinguish between the two. But simply saying which one is the ship of Theseus seems impossible for the human mind.
