At Wealthion, we show you how to protect and build your wealth by learning from the world’s top experts on finance and money. Each week we add new videos that provide you with access to the foremost specialists in investing, economics, the stock market, real estate and personal finance.
We offer exceptional interviews and explainer videos that dive deep into the trends driving today's markets, the economy, and your own net worth. We give you strategies for financial security, practical answers to questions like “how to grow my investments?”, and effective solutions for wealth building tailored to 'regular' investors just like you.
There’s no doubt that it's a very challenging time right now for the average investor. Above and beyond the recent economic impacts of COVID, the new era of record low interest rates, runaway US debt and US deficits, and trillions of dollars in monetary and fiscal stimulus stimulus has changed the rules of investing by dangerously distorting the Dow index, the S&P 500, and nearly all other asset prices. Can prices keep rising, or is there a painful reckoning ahead?
Let us help you prepare your portfolio just in case the future brings one or more of the following: inflation, deflation, a bull market, a bear market, a market correction, a stock market crash, a real estate bubble, a real estate crash, an economic boom, a recession, a depression, or another global financial crisis.
Put the wisdom from the money & markets experts we feature on Wealthion into action by scheduling a free consultation with Wealthion’s endorsed financial advisors, who will work with you to determine the right next steps for you to take in building your wealth.

He has his head up his azz on Ukraine. He could not be more wrong. Russia has treated the Ukrainian people like dogs for the last 3 centuries, and 100 years ago, stalin intentionally starved somewhere from 7 - 20 million Ukrainians while he made sure Russians had food. Russia holds grudges, and now is the time this is the place for Ukrainian independence from Russia's strong man dictatorships. He literally could not be more wrong about Ukraine. There are NAZI's on both sides of the war for Ukrainian independence, the founder of Wagner was such a proud nazi he had the ZZ's from Hitlers secret police tattooed on his neck to simulate the NAZI lapel. You are r------ if you think this has anything to do with NAZIS

You are wrong about Ukraine as well. The Ukrainian people have lost 1/3 as many soldiers as russia has in this war, and it has cost the west a rounding error in their military industrial complex systems to humiliate the number 2 most powerful army in the world. During Stalins time, Stalin forcefully relocated many Russians to Donbas influence Ukrainian politics, and extend his control.... ironically, the same person starved Ukraine in the 1920's. Ukraine knows what happens if Russia is mad at them, and bears a grudge, and its time for Ukraine to push back the iron curtain to their borders, and if necessary, the USA will help the Russian families that Stalin relocated, go back to their home countries. This is the Ukrainian war for independence, and you have the most powerful country on the planet backing you. Now is the time to fix the wrongs of the holodomor.

There were two men, putins butler, and another guy, Dmitry Utkin. China is the country who owns the most of US dollars in this planet except for US, which 'makes' US dollars out of nothing. The sum debt of the real estate companies is only a minor portion of the dollar reserves of Chinese government, if you refer to the data revealed by the goverment.

This is simply not correct. The Russian central bank did act competently, that much is true but the ruble is losing strength quite substantially. It was reasonably stable mid 70s to the USD pre-invasion, it's now low to mid 90s despite exhausting its reserves and a series of draconian measures. To lose what was probably the best million of your workforce to flight, and a further 300,000 to war casualties, while creating massive demand for war industries was naturally going to soak up any excess labor. There is no big win for Russia in this. Equally, Russian national debt is swelling, while living standards are in steady decline.
Rickard is correct in stating that there have been limited effects so far because the Russian national pass time is suffering. However, Russia is getting low prices for its oil that are near break-even so to say that Russia's economy has not suffered is lazy and simply false.
He also seems to have a very positive view of russia's progress in Ukraine. This is clearly not true. Is Western media too enthusiastic about Ukraine's success? Yes, sure it is. Is Ukraine struggling with a lack of ammunition, yes. Would it be more certain that Russia will fail in Ukraine if the West provided more munitions? Yes. But to describe Russia as 'biding it's time' that is clearly false. Russia had planned this war to end in days or weeks.
Further, if Russia was simply defending itself why Georgia? Why Chechnya? If anyone just wants war, it's Russia. Did the West use Ukraine to excite a proxy war? I think so but that all relied on Russia falling into the trap. So Rickards is largely talking balls.

Ukrainian counter offensive was over in September, since then Russia is in offense, with all of that equipment and North Korea ammunition still couldn't break Ukraine. Calling Ukrains nazi is just a shame. That is a great example when smart people looking for alternative news and get to Russian propaganda. Not impressive Jim. However what's trough that Russia is not going to stop after Ukraine and then it will be our turn to fight. And we will probably lose. Wandering what the consequences then will be...

Hidden Secret: Most of the "financial support" for Ukraine consists of sending old, outdated, mothballed, rusting, retired pieces of military hardware from Western arms depots where the Russians blow them up when the arms shows up in Ukraine. The Western countries then use the Ukrainian "financial support" to buy new military equipment from the Western defense industry to resupply their Western military depots.
tldr; the Ukrainian "financial support" is essentially a defense industry grift to dispose of old, ancient military arms via the Ukraine, and get money pumped into new defense industry products for the local nations.

@@Lukky_Luke if frozen assets will be given to Ukraine, nobody will take West serious anymore to store their money. That’s why it will never happen. They decided to give Ukraine dividends from the frozen .
Russia, Hungary, Poland, Romania will take and restore the parts of Ukraine that they had before 1991 (when Ukraine was created as a Republic into Soviet Union).
The faster conflict is over the more Ukrainian people can be saved.

Enron / GFC. How did those happen? Folks cooking books? Over leverage? Lawyers (not saying you are like them) helped cause both of those issues. The real issue is the super rich folks are very good at hiding issues or better said, risk. This stuff is not transparent for a reason. How it the hell do we get to the actual truth. Such as what is real GDP (without government debt as an input), what is the real unemployment numbers, What is the real CPI (lie)? For me ... I just go against what 90% of the people are saying and doing because the 10% are lying to them and those 10% rule the world not the 90%. In order for the 10% to get rich(er) they have to transfer wealth from the 90% to them. Those 10% sure do make it hard to figure out what they are doing, but it is possible with work. We just need to know where to look. Most (the 90%) are way too lazy to do this work ... which is why we get bubbles and crashes. It is really that simple. That is the way the world works. Lawyers in my experience just make the waters even more muddy (not all of course but at least the ones working for the top 10%). Coporate Layers are the worst, and usually there is not just one of them, there is a whole army of them for each Coporation. The law is supposed to protect and serve the common man (woman) we have gotten so far away from that basic founding father idea because the rich own our politicians and therefor write the laws in their favor. We are getting very close to the end of what America stands for. But hey we could get a civil war. That is always possible. I don't know how much longer the 90% are going to stand by idle. I thought during and after the GFC they would have burned Sh*t to the ground. Now we are 14 years down the road. We learned nothing and the debt levels (and corruption) is at least 5 times as bad. Could get intersting.

Interest takes on the Ukraine War and related history.
Never mind the fact that the "fairly elected" president of 2010, Viktor Yanukovich, ran in 2004 in a contested election before which his opponent, Viktor Yuschenko, was nearly fatally poisoned (likely by a novichok chemical agent, which has been used against Kremlin opponents including Navalny), severely scarring his face.
Yanukovich later won with help from Paul Manafort.
He also ignores that Russia's invasion of Georgia was predicated on claims of genocide in a region where friction was stoked as Russia gave out Russian passports to Russian speakers, laying a foundation for eventual annexation as it did with Crimea, despite Crimea being part of Ukraine for decades and despite Russia's agreement to this in the Budapest Memorandum.
I still value Jim's views and wonder why his assessment of Russia's economy is so at odds with other assessments I'm hearing, including those based on figures Russia itself has published.
Maybe he's accurate but some of how he describes things literally has me wondering whether he's in some partial to, if not compromised by, the Russian government and BRICS.

Israel is occupying a land illegaly and humiliating them since 1947. The world is seeing right now how ridiculous their army and intelligence services are notwithstanding the ever-present stealing of the American people by billions each year.

Internally, US moves will have a deleterious effect on society’s fundamental trust in the USG when the truth finally comes to light. Between 2014-2022 the Nazi Ukraine army killed 14000 in the Donbas mostly in violation of the 2015 Minsk Agreement. In early 2022 the Nazis moved a 120000 army east of the Dnieper river set to invade. Then VP Happy Harris suggests Ukraine apply to NATO. Missiles on the border would not give Russia any time to determine whether a nuclear response was. Appropriate. The EU and USA and NATO refused to deal. Russia knew the Nazi invasion date and did a preemptive invasion. Zelensky agreed to Peace, Russia withdrew, Boris Johnson rushed to Kiev to nix the deal and 500000 and counting Ukraine army dead and probably a million injured.
