@Kuzo53 no the memorysize does only make a difference when you play crysis on very high resolution like 1920x1080, but when you put crysis on that res. your other compenents cant follow the card :) so accually it doesnt make a difference at all
I got a 4650 agp, but it has ddr3 ram instead of ddr2, which i think will actually make it alot better. I was really shocked when I saw it on newegg but there it was. Can't wait to try it on my old pentium 4 1.5 ram computer.
Beforce: Idle: 25°C; Work: 31°C (668Mhz,1668Mhz) After Overclock: Idle: 29°C; Work: 41°C (750Mhz, 2000Mhz) Ill make a New crysis Video :) because my DX10 works now under XP ;D
@nightmaster552 hmm. Well I upgraded to a core 2 duo 3.00ghz 2 gigs of ram and im still deciding on a card but I can get a PCI-E now. What would you recommend for Crysis for about a 100-150 dollars?
@Kuzo53 ATI HD 4870, its really the best yo can do. THe DX11 cards are not that powerful and still cost ALOT more. So The HD 4870 or the HD 4850 is the way to go! ;)
@Kuzo53 Not bad :) But the HD 3850 is accually better, because of its 256bit interface, your card has only 128bit, but that doesnt mean ur card is bad or so, you can play all games with your card ;)
@nightmaster552 i have a ati sapphire 3850 agp8x.. in my old pc..... like from 5 years ago lol.... so trust me i knwo what the card can do and not do... been there done it
@qtipowns you got wrong information mr. The HD 4890 is about 10-15% faster, not more. You should look at benchmarks, btw im playing a lot of other games, just look at my channel, i just did the UT lover a favor and showed them a little gameplay, even though it is pretty old. Nowadays i make full HD videos. Not to mention that my PC now is a little monster, especially my CPU which owns pretty hard^^
@nightmaster552 well my current pc now i have the amd phenom II x 4 960t unlocked to x6 o/c to a 3.8 /4.4 turbo ghz and a msi 4890 o/c card.... with 10 gigs of drr3.. that i have recently upgraded to ... a 4850 is garbage compared to a 4890....... 4890 is 40 times faster than a 4850, and soon as the new amd 7000 series hit i will be gettin the amd 7870 or 7890... my video shows i pwn..... by they way play soem real games unreal is for old folks...
You guys are sooooo lucky! I have a crappy "Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS 910GML Express Chipset Fucking Family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" It can' even run UT2004 withought slight lag!
@vaguedustin I thought my english sucked as hell, but you somehow managed to make it even worse that i could imagine. Dude stop using Google translator, that thing sucks.
@vaguedustin Wondering how i can answer you when i am not able to read. Well seems that your brain doesnt seem to handle some discussions. Well for the "only language", i feel sry, i know 5 languages :x

That really makes a difference huh? Isnt this card 512ddr3 though? The one im getting is 1gigddr3. That doesnt mean anything?
thx :)
It would run pretty nice :)
