It's one of those rare songs that keeps getting better the more I listen to it 🙏🤗 I must have listened like 50-70 times already if not more! Over just about 2 years or so!

I love that when certain songs do that.

Aether Realm are truly in a league of their own. I've discovered this song years ago & can count the amount of days when I did not listen to it on my two hands. Without a doubt the best song I have ever heard. Their entire album "Tarot" which this song is from is based & written around Tarot cards & the meaning behind each card. Some more of their songs that you should definitely check out - "The Devil", "Tarot", "Death". Good luck on your Aether Realm journey!

This is my favorite piece of music, period, ever since i first heard it shortly after release. The final third always puts tears in my eyes. Thanks for the reaction, always good to see new people experiencing this band/song!

Dude this was fantastic. Having a serious "why the hell have i never heard this band before"-moment. Some of these transitions were so good i felt a stupid grin on my face. As you say, massive Wintersun vibes but still unique. Loved how the song is so epic but the production is kinda raw and gritty, just makes it even better imo.

my absolute all time favorite song, this is the song that not only introduced me to metal, but also inspired me to pick up guitar too. The lyrics are incredibly powerful and its so melodic that every time i hear the song i get goosebumps. The band members are also goofy as hell too which i love, they are active a lot in their discord server and are incredibly nice. Great reaction man, keep it up. If you want to listen to another incredibly underrated metal band give Xanthochroid a listen, they make so many incredibly songs around a story they crafted and they never steer away from it, its eye opening when diving into their lore, and they definately deserve more recognition.

I was not a big fan of the vocals, but the music was really good. Great rhythm section in this for sure. Great reaction, brother. I am very excited for the future of the channel.

This was really cool! I was getting Wintersun vibes on it as well, and Ensiferum, but also totally unique in it's own way. 🤘🤘

I used to hate vocals like this but I've come around on them and now I love them. Amazing song, one of my top songs of all time. Whenever I need to kill 20 minutes I just put this on because it goes by like nothing. More cleans would be nice though because they're so good

This was beyond epic. There's a point where sometimes this tone of the main vocal is either hit or miss with me, but here I think it was fitting and similar to others I've heard like this and worked well. The music and change ups in vocals was plentiful enough to keep me engaged with this journey of a track.
I feel some female vocals thrown in (clean/harsh or both) would've been the chef's kiss 👨‍🍳💋
Overall though I'm definitely keen to hear some more from Aether Realm. Great recommendation from the Patreon 🤘

I liked the song a lot and I like harsh vocals, sometimes they can get a little bit too one note for me. I need some dynamics for it to really shine for me. Like Will Ramos. These vocals were a bit to one note, but he has great enunciation. You can actually hear the lyrics😂

I'm with others who have commented here. I loved the instrumentals, but the vocals were not something that I really can say that I enjoyed. I wonder if some of their other music has more clean vocals?

    • @Mossy-Rock

You might like their song "Guardian" as it has way more cleans than harsh vocals. And, it is a beautiful, emotional song.

This band is great, I've been following them since I stumbled on their first album. If you check out more from them I'd recommend sticking with this album (Tarot), it's far and away their best work imo. Maybe try "Death" or "The Fool" next.

I echo what others have said: vocals, not for me. That's sad, because the music was great, except for the overdose of double bass and blast beats and in some parts. I think they can be very effective in some places, in most cases they just ruin the flow for me. But again, I did enjoy the melodies and composition a lot. A very interesting piece of music

Not digging the vocals, but absolutely love the music. I do really like the lyrics a lot, but just can't get into the vocals. The clean vocals are really nice though, too bad there wasn't much of them.
