- Join us for a 15 minute ship tour of P&O Cruises Iona. In this tour we will take you deck by deck showing the wide range of bars, restaurants, amenities, and entertainment options onboard.
We begin the tour on Deck 5, where you can exercise the day away in the Oasis Gym, or relax in the Thermal Suite. Hidden away down here is also the Studio, here you can participate in group exercise sessions with the on-board training team.
As we make our way on to Deck 6, we begin the tour at the aft of the ship, in the Pearl Restaurant, in this large main dining room you will also find the Coral Restaurant above on Deck 7. You can also find both Aqua, and Opal, on Deck 6. There was always plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in these restaurants, all included in your cruise fare.
Ocean Studios, a four screen cinema, is located mid-ship and included in your cruise fare. Andersons Bar and Library, where you can purchase drinks including a gin flight, is nearby.
The 710 Club, an exclusive adults only venue, offers a range of cocktails and live entertainment. The Harbour Shop, which sells essentials and books, is just off the atrium.
The Emerald Bar and Vistas Café Bar, located in The Grand Atrium, offer a range of cocktails, mocktails, and drinks. The Limelight Club, featuring live music after a three-course meal, is a must-do.
The Whitewall Galleries showcases world-famous and new artists. The Oasis Spa offers spa therapies and body treatments.
Cruise Sales, Shore Excursions, and the Avenue shops offer fashion products, luxuries, gifts, and more. Reception and the Photo Hub are on deck 7 midship.
The Glass House, located in The Grand Atrium, serves small plates, steaks, and wine pairings. Brodies pub offers the ship's largest range of British and international beer and ale, and the Casino offers slots, blackjack, and poker. The Headliners Theatre offers daily shows from musical jukeboxes to comedians.
Deck 8 features a wrap-around promenade, six infinity whirlpools facing the ocean, and two large whirlpools at the aft of the ship. The Club House offers family entertainment in the afternoon and live performances in the evening. The Olive Grove offers Mediterranean dishes and sharing platters. The Quays offers breakfast through dinner with Fish and Chips, Asian Food, and American burgers/fried chicken. Sindhu showcases dishes such as pan-roasted beef tenderloin and spiced mash, alongside ginger and mint tiger prawns and the signature dish - a trio of fragrant curries. Ripples is your one stop for gelato and sundaes. The Keel and Cow offers authentic gastropub food with dishes such as black-pudding scotch eggs and the signature Prime Minister beef burger.
Self-service laundrettes and free to use irons can be found on most cabin decks.
Deck 16 and Horizon Restaurant is your buffet restaurant onboard. The Beach House offers American influenced speciality dishes in a closed off section of the buffet seating area. The Skydome is a multi-purpose space showcasing live acts and regular shows, and you can also find Taste 360, Laguna Bar, and Sundaes here.
The reef offers activities for younger travellers on deck 17. The Epicurean fuses classic and modern British dining in a sophisticated and contemporary setting. The Crows Nest is a relaxing bar with forward facing views.
The Panorama Pool and Bar, The SplashZone, and the jogging track are on Deck 18. The Beachcomber Pool & Bar is a great place to relax and swim. The Retreat, accessible for an additional charge, offers a private relaxation area.

Absolutely amazing going on Saturday
Thanks for watching :)
Really useful and concise ship tour. The boxes that indicate if a restaurant is included are very helpful. Thanks
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching :)

⭐️👍A huge thank you George and Dan 🎉, I love that you have included the “included” icon this is so helpful when showing friends of ours your vlog for the P&O Iona, the food looks really nice and your vlog makes us want to get on board ASAP but we travel next year April 2024 sadly. Love the vlog thanks again George & Dan your Awesome !!!!!!⭐️✨⭐️✨
Thanks for watching :)
We wanted to include this as it was a common question.
🌟⭐️A fantastic add on , really love it as you don't find in other vlogs what's included as you have brilliantly done ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Beautifully presented ship tour. Iona is on our list to do in the next year.
Thank you! Hope you get to enjoy Iona soon!
Don't bother. Since Covid all Cruises have been cutting costs. Paid for the retreat for two weeks to discover it doesn't have its own bathroom. The adults only pool has for a week so far had teenagers in it at end of the day when we want to use it. Staff aren't paid enough to deal with the abuse they'd get from them telling them to leave. So the "adults only pool" ends up not being usable.
The amount of cigarette butts I've seen so far around the ship deck is worrying, it means the people on board give no shits about safety and smoke where they want.
Have made complaints about noise in cabin as clearly a fault with the sliding door and the communication is awful. Toilet flush wasn't working most of last night, reception confirmed a few rooms on other floors affected but no comms about this. They have a TV system in the room, put the comms on that.
Great video, thanks! Can't wait for my cruise. 😊
Im loving the way you guys film and present your Vlogs!
Thank you so much!!
love the video, going on iona next wekk!!
Thank you! Hope you had a great trip! 😊
Perfect tour, thanks!
Thanks for watching :)
We on Iona in may really can’t wait it looks beautiful 😍 we have been on azura twice and loved that so have a good feeling about Iona 😊
Your videos are very well structured and really informative. Excellent work!
Thank you very much!
Really informative, well done! Too many people make clips that are more about themselves than the subject. You obviously realise that the opposite is true.
This is so helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
My fiancee and I will be honeymooning onboard Iona next August and I am ridiculously excited
Thank you. We have been on many cruises but our next one will be only our second with PandO. Looks a beautiful ship although the large number of passengers is worrying us a bit. Are there long queues or waits for drinks in your experience?
I'm going in a few weeks, can you tell me where they serve a full English breakfast ?
Everywhere - at the 3 main restaurants, the Horizons buffet and at Quays. Restuarants are the better option. Less crowds, better food.
I havent stayed in one but I imagine the food in The Horizon Restaurant to be as prison food would be. 😥
Do you have any recommendations for the best deck for a balcony cabin, never been on a cruise, looking to go November 2024 on Iona
Not sure about your itinerary but we had deck 12 aft for our Norwegian Fjords cruise and it was great for the views. We have also had deck 5 for non-scenic cruises which provide good access to disembark and also the public areas. Hope this helps.
Just been on the Iona on a two week cruise. Not that impressed. The P&O Britannia cruise we did last year was a much better experience.
Gone for a extra cost treat to Sindu Indian restaurant there 9.6.23 just to be served cold rice... Very Yummy otherwise
I loved Iona, the only part I don't think works so well is the Skydome for night time entertainment, it's too big and has poor acoustics for musical acts, nor is there much seating.
