Hi Chris! I found out about your channel about 2 weeks ago and binge watch your videos because I find them really informative. You may have given the answer to my question in one of your videos but I can't seem to find it, so here it is. I have medium hair and in your Recommended Products list, you recommend Redken Big Blowout to add fullness and volume after blowout or Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother to give a smooth shiny texture after blowout. Would you say we can use both to add volume AND shine texture or is it better to use only one or the other, depending on what result we want, to avoid to much product on our hair? Thanks a bunch!

I'm a skeptical 58 year old with fine thin hair - never have used a leave in conditioner in my life but somehow this man influenced me - I bought the leave in conditioner as well as the heat protectant and have been honestly surprised - my hair didn't get weighed down as I feared, and following his over the head curling iron technique as well my hair actually looks healthier and thicker than it has in decades. I need to work on the curling iron technique still but the curls do last longer (esp with the heat protectant too). Thank you - so happy I found your page!

Excellent video! I have been learning so much about my hair for years, but Im still learning and love to have these videos as a resource. Leave in conditioner is my #1 non negotiable product! Sometimes, I might not have access to my favorite shampoo, or favorite hair oil, but I must always have my leave in conditiner, because my very fine, very curly AND very dry hair need, NEED that conditioning. Now of course, I do use oil on my ends and also use heat protectant whenever I blow dry, and the best thing is that I dont need many products that would weight down my hair, because with my leave in is formulated for fine hair, but it is moisturizing enough for my dry hair needs!

If my hair is too wet, it seems to slip off but if it's too dry it doesn't seem to stick to my hair. So, at what percentage of dryness should the hair be in your opinion for the leave in conditioner to work?

Good info. To each his or her own. I make home made pepper jack Mac and cheese. Someone who is use to the cheap stuff won't like real cheese Mac and cheese. I like that u understand that hair products work differently on each person. I wash with 2 different shampoos (one cleans, other purple) I condition, after I use leave in conditioner. I blow dry and add oil. Wrap it or put mousse on it and roll it. Or part down the middle, add mousse and 2 strand twist it. I get the wan look without the wan. I really enjoy these videos bc Chris really cares about people's hair. It's not so much about promoting stuff that is not needed. Thanks again for your honesty.,🤗

I am new to your channel, I am so glad that I stumbled onto your channel, my hair type is fine and for the last 4 years I have been loosing a lot of hair every day I could not understand why I am loosing so much hair, I have seen my doctor for blood test all was fine, I thought going through menopause was causing my hair loss, which was not menopause, I have tried supplements which also was not working. I saw your video in regards to shampoo and conditioner and leave in conditioner as well as the oil, and also how to correctly shampoo my hair. To my amazement my hair is so healthy and no more hair loss. Thank you so much for your videos, you are an amazing hairdresser with so much knowledge. I wish I knew this 4 years ago. All the hair loss I experienced caused me to feel depressed and it was frustrating because I didn’t know what the cause of my hair loss was. I have always had fine hair but I had a lot of fine hair. My hair was so fine and very thin, I even saw a hairdresser who specialises in making human hair topper I spent over $1000 in purchasing a hair topper. I honestly feel like my hair is on the road to full recovery. Once again thank you so much 🙏all the way from Australia

Leave in conditioner AND hair oil?! I'm a new suscriber as of today because I just bought a morrocan oil leave in conditioner yesterday, I've used cheap ones in the past and thought they were a have, I thought putting in a little bit of my regular conditioner on after a shower was good enough. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 oml the difference!! Today I have PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, NON OILY, HYDRATED hair for the very first time at home by myself, and you've convinced me to invest in a good shampoo. Hi Chris, please can you make a Video with tips and products for people who has extremely proteine sensitive hair? 🙏🙏🙏
My hair is very thin, damaged bleached, try, frizzy, normaly exactly the perfect hair type for proteine repair products but my hair hates all kinds of products which are based on proteines. No mather what brand, Olaplex, K18, Redken extreme... everytime I used products with only a little part of proteins, the result is a desaster!

OMG! Mister you are a Genius. I spend endless amount of money and already had most of the products you recommended but not the Pureology. This is liquid gold. I had the wow product to make my hair frizz free all it needed was to lack moisture. I take oil, prenatal vitamins, the whole olaplex system, every imaginable leave in, the whole Redken system nothing compares. My hair is smooth, shiny and soft again. Thank you hair god!

New to the channel and I was watching your videos on "Hair care must-haves" as an African American woman with unprocessed thick tight curly hair, I believe in products that work for all hair types and I have learned that this belief have saved me every time.
When I follow "Natural hair" trends I become a product junkie and my hair suffers for it.
Currently I am using JOICO shampoo and conditioner and my hair really likes it. But, I can not for the life of me figure out a quality leave-in conditioner.
Is there a leave-in conditioner that you would recommend for thick, curly, kinky, coarse- textured, unprocessed and not much if at all damage hair?
I'm in need of a great quality leave-in conditioner that works for all hair types even mine 😢 Kinky coil's🙂
    Thank you, either way🙏🏿

    Hi Crist.
    I have some questions .
Is Ne’cessarie shampoo and conditioner ok to use?
If I have wavy hair 2A type so I have to dry my hair by defusing a little bit before let air dry , I want to know I need heat protection or not?
The last question I use curl defining, so I still need blow dry cream or any styling cream or not?
Moreover, could you recommend a good curl enhancing that good for thick and a little bit wave for me. I don’t know how to choose because they have cream, gel, moose.
I like touchable but keep my wave nicer.
I will waiting for your recommendation.

Hi Chris! Thank you so much, I love all of your videos! They are so informative, I've learnt a lot from you that's for sure! However, I'm still confused on what I should be putting on my hair for heat protection. When I wash my hair, I blow dry it and then straighten it. I've never been able to blow dry it straight, I'm useless when it comes to my hair, let alone anyone else's. I have fine hair, naturally I'm dark blonde but I have blonde balayage done. I'd say the condition was OK but I know it could be a lot, lot better. I use a multi-purpose spray before I blow dry but that's all, and nothing before I straighten. I use the L'oreal Profressionel Serie Expert Vitamino Color 10 multi-purpose spray. I have never used a blow dry cream, EVER! I recall in one of your videos you said that those multi-purpose sprays don't really have true heat protection. So I am now wondering if I should use a blow dry cream and then a seperate heat protection and how I would apply these? Would the use of more than one product weigh my hair down too much as I have fine hair? If you could recommend any products for my situation that would be much appreciated! Big love from the UK :) x

Just discovered your videos! Great! But I am also a fine wavy/curly girl and would love some shampoo/conditioner and other hair product ideas! Does the volume shampoo/conditioner from Redken work on wavy/curly hair - is there enough moisture without it being drying?? 🙂

Hi Chris. Do you have a recommendation of leave-in conditioner for non color treated hair? I am using the one you recommended, and before that I was using Prose. For some reason, leave-in conditioner leaves my hair feeling really stiff. Am I using it wrong. I have below shoulder blades length hair, mixed between wavy and mostly straight, and the texture is fine. I use 8 - 10 pumps of leave-in conditioner.
