i got no java folder in program files! its in program files (x86). I did every step in the video and still have the same error! it just doesnt get fixed

Hello, I have had problems installing and getting Eclipse and Android Studio to work for different reasons. I walked through the tutorial you showed. My version was in the (x86) folder so I moved it and edited my string accordingly. I have just reinstalled my eclipse and the 1st time it worked and now after doing your tutorial I shut it down and tried it and no worky... please help me.
My java was in program files(86x) I hope i havent screwed everything up. It still doesnt work, so
I am running Windows 10-x64 and installed 32-bit version of Eclipse, now its working:-) No more errors...

I have Java 8 32 bit and my computer is 64 bit. I have downloaded the 64 bit eclipse. After following the steps in the video, I still get the same error.
If anyone still couldn't solve the problem then check if your java and eclipse are of same bit [32 or 64] and if the differ then your problem won't go away until you get same version for both

Hello, thank you for your video but even if your method did not work it is thanks to her I was able to solve my problem. Just install the jdk in the same folder as the jr then follow your instructions by copying the path of the javaw.exe file in the jdk folder in the eclipse.ini file and it's done.

i follow this process but after process i open eclipse then error are generated like a

O meu eclipse é o neon era 32bits, pois segundo o tutorial a maioria das aplicações são suportadas ainda por 32bits e não há tanta diferença em desempenho. Deu esse erro, tive que instalar o Java 32bits na pasta do "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_131\bin" , e colocar no eclipse.ini este local, só assim funcionou. Não sei porque parou do nada, mas só assim voltou a funcionar.

Just move file eclipse.ini to desktop make changes like on video and back folder to eclipse folder and thats it.
