I've researched lots of other companies. This has ALWAYS been at the Pinnacle for every perimeter of research i did. I FINALLY purchased my tune this morning. Really excited.
For anyone on the fence about getting a custom E-tune definitely go with Alan. He turned my Focus ST and did an amazing job. The car delivers power so much smoother than the OTS tunes I was running prior. I have more confidence in the reliability of the tune and the car is a blast to drive.
@@Rubb3rDuck01 I'm still in the tuning process with the BNR...I would guess I'm around 310-325iwh whp right now as I told Alan I wanted to stay conservative but kinda getting the boost fever lol..I haven't driven on the new map yet but I thinks it's around 25-27psi..the car is full bolt on,catch can,CPE exhale kit,HKS BOV,catless, and alotttttt of other stuff I don't wanna keep listing that's the jist of it tho
Another great video. This puts what we discussed on the phone the other day into a much better perspective. Can't wait for all my parts to show up so we can start tuning! If you guys ever have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to Alan and the team. Isaac spent a good amount of time with me as well getting all my parts put together and ordered up!
So let's say I get an e-tune when I am FBO Stage 3 (focus ST)... If I decide to go big turbo later on, would that require buying another $350 full e-tune, or would that count as a $100 revision?
You have to purchase a full new tune if you change the turbo. The turbo changes everything and requires starting over completely where as adding something like an intercooler is only a small change and wouldn't not require starting over completely with the tune.
I have a 2017 Ford Fusion 2.0. I saw in a previous comment saying you can build a tune for another Fusion and you just have to note that it's for a fusion. My question is that the Cobb tuners don't seem to be compatible with the Fusion according to your website, is this true? Thanks!

Okay quick question. For when we’re logging you said something about just having one parameter pulled up in the Cobb I think or did I not understand that correctly? I’m lost in the sauce with the logging part🥴
Its more about keeping a select few parameters in your log list. This list is highlighted in Alan's etune welcome email. Scaling back what you are recording helps the AP log quickly and efficiently.
What About: Does the ground need to be smooth, like a dyno? No dips, potholes etc. Does the ground need to be flat? Are on-ramps bad because they are sloped? Tires, what if you get some wheel spin, does that compromise the run? Snow tires? Thanks for making this video.
If you are wanting an accurate vdyno you need to be on the smoothest, flattest, straightest road possible. Otherwise it doesn’t matter than much for the tuning process.
@@TMTMS3 Thanks for replying. I'm Denver local and trying to make a choice between E-tune or Dyno. Been running Cobb OTS stage1 for a while now but want more piece of mind.
In my opinion, a "slight uphill" on-road log is the best. It properly loads the vehicle engine with real world conditions. 4th gear is good - little to none wheelspin unless your running serious power.
Hi Alan, I’m the owner of a Focus ST 2018 European version, running a stage 2 COBB OTS map ( Cobb air intake + air filter) and a Wagner intercooler. What are the improvements in torque and HP that I can expect from your tune vs the stage 2 COBB OTS tune? Any other improvements in parallel to the torque and HP? Thanks for your help and regards from Spain
have you guys ever considered offering a stock turbo unlimited tune where all the revisions are basically paid for for like 5 years or until big turbo?
Correct, you can purchase the Focus tune through our site, and note that it is a Fusion: edgeautosport.com/edge-autosport-etune-ford-focus-st-2013-2018-focus-rs-2016-2018/
Well done video. One question I do have is if I have been tuned by a different tuner can I buy a revision and send it to you to modify or double check the tune?
I can't revise another tuners tune. They are locked and not accessible to anybody but the person who created it. Even if I could, I'd prefer to start with my own rather than somebody else's. So you'd just need to purchase a full tune.
Quick question, I was tuned for my Focus RS with the NX2 turbo back in July, my question is if I want to go to E30 do I need to purchase another tune or just a revision?
It depends on how much of an extreme in temperature the tune is done in. I prefer to tune above 30 degrees F and below 100 degrees F, but there are comps on the tune to handle more extreme temps. It is just best to not dial the tune in at an extreme. You are always welcome to send a check up log though so I can make sure comps and everything are doing their jobs. The short answer though is no, you shouldn't need a revision.
I guess you guys do not use VersaTuner!? I've done my own personal tunes, but would want a professional tune for when I get my upgraded turbo for the Speed 6.
I have used versatuner, but prefer Cobb. The log rate with Cobb is much better and allows more efficient tuning. We do not currently offer a versatune option though.
