Thank you. Years ago I made a bunch of fabric pumpkins. They were a lot of work! These are just as cute and a lot less cutting and only one seam on the sewing machine! I'm so glad I found your tutorial!
I did not have any thick thread so I used dental floss and it worked great. I also added rice so it would sit better., and finally I got to use some of the wine corks I have been holding on to forever.
Thnks so much for this tutorial! My two granddaughters and I had a blast making them! It was their first attempt on the sewing machine and they loved every step!
this i like, i am going to make this, yes i am a man making this. i love things like this. i also do needle felt. make furniture, restore things ect. i am very busy.
Great tutorial. Useally when I watch crafters they glue every thing. I love thiis a some sewing in it. They aee a lot neater looking. I am going to make some. Once I get starting I don't think I'll be able to stop at just a few.
Hi! I’m not a person who has sewn much and this was so easy for me - thank you so much! I really had fun and your directions are clear and so easy to follow. I love my pumpkin! I subscribed because of this.
This is the easiest tutorial for fabric pumpkins I have seen. Looking forward to making some. Can you tell me how you would figure the size of fabric needed for a larger or taller pumpkin? Thank you.
Great instructions, clear and uncomplicated. I’ve wanted a few pumpkin tutorials and yours is the simplest and best. I like that little flower on top but I think I will skip the wire vine. I just got rid of my old paper ribbon but that might have been an alternative...that’s why crafters have a hard time throwing anything away, haha
I made some fabric pumpkins a few weeks ago but mine don’t have the flower ,raffia , and wire on them. I’l have to add the extras to the ones I made because yours look so much better. Thanks for such a great tutorial .
Can you use hot glue on some parts like the beginning where it's folded? Is the strong thread necessary? Can I use regular thread? Sorry. Trying to save money...
Very cute idea. Future videos could you please talk alittle louder as I had the volume on my phone all the way up and sometimes could not hear you. Thank you for sharing!
I thought the same thing and tried a few on the stem...some of them looked really cute..but i did not have the heart to give up my favorite hair scrunchies...so came back on here to learn her scrap fabric directions. But in a pinch..yes, they do look/work. I had to wrap mine twice to get it the correct circumference.
I love these! Especially the eight petals for the flower around the stem! One question, do you just continue sewing all the petals with one continuous tread to keep them attached/together? Thanks
I'm not sure, I never really measure my fabric for these. I just increase the first number a few inches for taller pumpkins and the second number for wider pumpkins. To keep the same shape and make them larger you can add the same amount of inches to both numbers though🙂
I love this video, but I am confused on the 3x3 squares. Did you make one continuous string with all eight, or were they individual? I am making these right now. I love your vine too!
This is WAY easier than I thought it would be. Thanks so much for sharing this; I just found it tonight!
Oh my gosh! I prob watched a dozen of these videos to see different techniques but your fabric flower is the best!
Yay! Thank you!
The cutest stem I have found is an old wooden thread spool! Love your video! Excellent instructions! Kay

This is so nice to hear💕
These are the cutest fabric pumpkins that I have seen. Great easy to follow tutorial.
Thank you so much!
Small hair scrunchies can be used for fabric wrap/fabric flower at the top if you don't want to sew them. :)

Thank you💕
So cute 💖
Thanks😊
What size fabric do you use for the larger size pumpkin?
Wonder if you could use a hair scrunchy for the top petals.
I thought the same thing and tried a few on the stem...some of them looked really cute..but i did not have the heart to give up my favorite hair scrunchies...so came back on here to learn her scrap fabric directions.

Great!! Thanks 🎃
Thanks for watching!😊

How do I know which is the bottom?
Good very nice
I love these! Especially the eight petals for the flower around the stem! One question, do you just continue sewing all the petals with one continuous tread to keep them attached/together? Thanks
Thanks! And yes it's one continuous thread for all the petals🙂
just subscribed also, hope there is alot more things like this.
Where do you find the links to buy your fabric, etc?
The links are in the video description (right under the video) 🙂
Hi! so the 9x22 is for the small pumpkin is there a certain ratio for making ones of different sizes?
I'm not sure, I never really measure my fabric for these. I just increase the first number a few inches for taller pumpkins and the second number for wider pumpkins. To keep the same shape and make them larger you can add the same amount of inches to both numbers though🙂
Very good. Wish there was a written pattern too. Im visual and also like to read step by step.
My daughter just requested some of these! How big is the pumpkin made with the 9x22 inch fabric?
I don’t have the exact measurements for this one but it’s about 3 inches tall and 6 inches wide.
I love this video, but I am confused on the 3x3 squares. Did you make one continuous string with all eight, or were they individual? I am making these right now. I love your vine too!
Thanks! Yes, the 3x3 squares are one continuous string with all eight. Thanks for asking! 🙂
Could u tell me what size does it come out to?
It’s about 3 inches tall and 6 inches wide🙂
You might speak up so you can be heard! Love the pumpkin...ox
Before this tutorial we need a tutorial of : how to stitch 😛
I have a sewing machine a singer 5400
