Almost 20 years ago a teacher taught me to make these and for years my mom and I made them and hung them alllll over the apartment every Christmas they were the only decorations we had for a while. I grew up and we stopped making them and I forgot how I messaged my mom to see if she remembers because I wanted to make them with my girls (12 and 3) she couldn't remember but after some searching she found this video and sent it to me. TEARS OF JOYY!!! I cannot wait to re create these and make new memories with my kids thank you so much!!
I'm being quite frank here. I haven't done those paper stars in years and I wasted like three sheets of paper, before I found this video. Believe me, you saved me from exploding, so thank you so much for returning this memory to me.🙂😚
Oh man I am working a 12hr shift at a retirement home(night shift) since it's very quiet I'll make tons of snowflakes and decorate while they sleep, they are gonna be so thrilled! We got our first snow of the season tonight this couldn't have fallen in my recommended at a better moment! Great craft
Thank you for the tutorial.I work in a hospital Rehabilitation Unit and i used this as an activity for my Therapy patients.. Even the men liked the activity for something to give their family. I also made the 24 inch size for each of our large windows
I made these with red paper, added leaves, and they looked like poinsettias! Great classroom decorations that the kids love for December! We'll do it again with white paper in January for snowflakes!
I made these while working night shifts at a hospital in Vancouver, BC 30.years ago. We would decorate the halls on our unit at Christmas very festive. Everyone was so impressed but as you can see it's so easy. Xx
I remember doing this about 8- 9 years ago with my classmates in elementary. we wouldn't too much of school during December because we would be making fun art decorations for our class. thanks for this!
i ship mike and will Not dumb at all! Just a literal chain. So for example you can take strips of paper to create circles and then link them together to form a chain. You can hang it up like a big garland! I think there are some images on google you can use as a reference if you google “paper chain”
Very helpful! Thank you for not talking a bunch and telling me your motivation for making the video and what you ate for lunch and who you need to thank for the video production and blah blah blah. Just long enough and now I’m ready to craft! Thanks!
This is friggin' awesome!!! I saw this in my doctor's office and the lady at the front desk told me to go on youtube and type 3d snowflake and here I am. Im loving it. Im a arts & craft girl so Im definitely doing this for Christmas! Jappy Holidays everyone 🎄🎁
Thank you so much for your tutorial!!! I made these with my grandsons and we had a ball. Your demonstration was impeccable and let’s not forget the wonderful music!!! Thanks again!!!
I helped make one of these in fifth grade for one of my classes. I remembered about it earlier today and it brought back so many memories of that class and how much fun I had there. Couldn't remember how to make them though. I only remembered the first few steps.
These are actually “parols” Filipino stars. You can make them out of glass wood any many more they are not usually called “snowflakes” they are Christmas stars Filipinos make for Christmas for decoration and for putting on top of the tree
I want to do a fun & overdone snowflake Christmas display like Buddy did in Elf. I’m trying to plan ahead and it’s only January. Thank you for the video. It’s been many years since I’ve made paper snowflakes. I wish everyone a fantastic year and wish for the spirit of Christmas to last all year through.

Béatrice Landry or mini snowflakes!
