I've never folded my paper like that. I couldn't remember how I did it in the past so had to look it up and now I remember. Cut a square, fold into a triangle and keep folding in this way until you have your desired number/thickness - this will determine how many symmetrical shapes you'll get and how many sides it'll have. Then cut out your shapes.
Ok so last night i made one and it did work out but..... i think i needed to cut even more carefully but then i fixed it with glue and it looks really good so thanks for the hack.👍
