I would buy this. I love that it has that grimy look and that its not as polished as others. It makes the ring look like it has been on a lot of adventures.
Patrick, have you ever done a coffee etch with damascus? It makes more contrast between the dark and light colors. That would be pretty neat to see on a ring!
You should put this up for sale. I'm always interested in what you make and one day will have to ask for a custom order. But this is a ring I would buy even if it is simple, its more unique then most rings people make.
Damn that was going to be my comment... But yeah, cool ring. Not sure it looks super comfortable though. The inside doesn't look very smooth, but it might feel much smoother than it looks.
I'm interested in a ring mandrel but im 15 and don't even have a lathe yet but im really close with the money i have saved up... so far this is my favorite if you don't put it up for sale I might just gave to custom order it
Absolutely gorgeous xx just one question...could you put a very thin layer of say green powder/paint on it so the silver like markings stand out more?...not sayin it aint awesome now cause it is want/need one xx just wondering if you can do that or not to that type of material xxhyaoxx
This video is a pretty good balance compared to the last few with the editing. Tiny bit less talking, less intense music when you're talking, multi angle but without ridiculous transitions I think would be the perfect balance
Love the cross cut super conductor ring. Hands down.Absolutely my fav ring. Coolest ive ever seen
Acid: eats into the metal enough to reveal a pattern.
Also acid: THIS PLASTIC CUP IS TOO STRONG!

yo Patrick you should do 2 versions of this ring the 1 you already did and 1 that's completely mirror finished that would be totally awesome
Could you also put heat on it after you etch it for coloring? Or would you only do one or the other?
So beautiful!!!

Have you considered taking alot of your different metal shavings and casting think into a ring. Or melting them down together
You should put this up for sale. I'm always interested in what you make and one day will have to ask for a custom order. But this is a ring I would buy even if it is simple, its more unique then most rings people make.
