You’ve got to check out his other stuff! He’s my favourite comedian of all time! He has an entire series called Gayle, creates unhinged cryptids, and does hyper-specific comedy songs that do not rhyme and slap much harder than they have any business slapping, he also plays the villain of an indie cartoon called Big Top Burger in which he frequently peaks out his mic with insane reads and I’m fairly certain improvises a lot of his lines. This sounds like a bad thing but it is incredible energy and he is the best part of the show by far.
@@bird3713 I don't think so. I think it's just pronounced "Jacks" in English. In the original French it's probably pronounced more like "Jawcks" with a soft K. Could be totally wrong though
@@Highonwater3X I just googled it and wikipedia agrees that it's "Jakes". It just seems so weird to me- why isn't it the French pronunciation if it's the French spelling? I was watching a low-quality RUclips video a month ago and the speaker said this guy's name, and it infuriated me that he was pronouncing it incorrectly. Turns out I was the pleb all along.
@@bird3713 huh, interesting. I've been saying it wrong my whole life! It's probably because the English version is butchered a bit or possibly purposefully pronounced differently over the centuries since the French nobility ruled England on and off following 1066. A lot of weird language and pronunciation changes happened over that time, both naturally and forced by various historical events. It's actually super interesting history as well as linguistic history. It's where we also get words like "mutton" instead of venison - French "mouton," as well as a bunch of other hunting and food related names. There's a cool video from PBS Storied. I'll try to find it for you.

There's a good chance it was a specific brand of product she mentioned and the network had to cut it cause they tend to not like giving out free ad time. Sometimes when filming they'll ask the contestants to repeat themselves without the brand name in the answer but i'd guess they forgot here (pretty easy in the moment when things like Kleenex and Band-Aid are used as synonyms for the product they are).
LMAOOOOO I instantly knew what "Redwall" was, not because I've read it, but because I've always had a weird ick about anthropomorphic animals and actively avoided that series in middle school lmaoooo
To say that I didn't understand the game, "Make it Random", dwarfs my misunderstanding of the panel's responses. FTW is just normal confusion. Is Taylor messing up, or are the writers off base?? wtfk.
It's basically say something funny and random that isn't associated with the picture. When you see a photo and are told "make a joke" you instinctually want to make a joke about that image, so you have to immediately ignore your gut comedic response and come up with something else. Is it a good segment? No. I can see it being a fun improv game among comics but not exactly great for this format.
Can we have Chris Fleming and Flula Borg both return for an episode??
Yes
And bring drag queen katya
I'm glad they clarified what they wanted the eliminated contestant to actually do, because that could have been a horrifying call from the FCC.
Chris: "This seems like a psychological evaluation."
Chloe: "How do you think you're gonna do?"
Chris: "Not well!
Relatable
Please bring Chris Fleming back, he is incredible.
A very good set of guests, that was great.
"That was supposed to be a punishment..."
A good way to live life I find. What a guy.
As a master of random but overly specific insults this game was MADE for Chris.
Never heard of Chris (I think, I watch so much stand up 😅), but he was hilarious 😁 more, please!

I'm really glad he did jazz
😂 “one of the boyfriends in Sex and the City’s brutalist apartment”
Taylor is a gift to the world!
Chris Flemming is a golden god!
I just love Chris so much
I'm just happy that Redwall got a shout-out
Same. Was not expecting that. Love Redwall.
Is that really how you say the author’s last name though?

loved the scene from a 2000s movie about being a team.
A Redwall reference in the year of our Lord 2024!?!
Very little has made me happier
I was so happy to hear someone reference them!
half the reason I watch this show is just to see whatever cute look Taylor has that day
Real
It's not proper scatting if you don't say "skibbity bee bop"
this is a great game. random random random. great comedy. bring it back!
I was waiting for someone to say "prosopometamorphopsia" for that weird vase, and then to get zero points for it.
That’s so funny!
Would have been hilarious 😂😂😂😂
I LOVE bringing back the “so random” thing - very real millennial lore here 😂

"The Redwall Series" is my kind of random
The couch arm aged phenomenally well for the present moment
The Redwall reference!
Chris Fleming is a national treasure
Loved the Random round, definitely do that one again
The main thing I miss about the early 00s is the dance music.
After 2005, it started going downhill fast.
Please please keep Chris Fleming around Taylor if you hear me please keep Chris Fleming on After Midnight Taylor Tomlinson I’m begging you Taylor if you hear me
I agree that Blink 182 was not random enough
Hear me out..Taylor’s pretty cute.
Yeah and Midwest Hot
Fr
I love this
I loved the random game!
Love this segment. BTW: If I watch on Paramount+, do I get to see the extended cut that includes the 2000 points we didn't see Chloe get?

That last one is clearly Fiverr artist Huang97 who has made most of the thumbnails for Ryan Trehan's videos.

Im glad Chloe didn’t lose but also her points kept going up with no answers .? Or am I tripping
It's the first time I've seen Taylor in a fit of laughters in this show
you need to watch more episodes. it happens almost once a week.
about 3 weeks ago it happened 2x in the same episode. ostrage race "Daddy! "
Yeah she had an absolute breakdown in one episode a few weeks back. She recovered, and then melted down again. It was actually pretty funny to watch.
Anyone know where I can find Taylor's earrings?
Chris Fleming? I thought it was Donnie Iris.
"wrong answers only"

i cannot understand why these ocmments are all gassing this up. this was nothing. just minutes of nothing.
That's pretty much the whole show though, and we love it for that
