The housing market and cost of living in urban centres (where migrants tend to settle) has sky rocketed. We have a population of 41 million and letting in 575,000 people in this year. We are full, and we don’t need/want you here.

Canada's inflation rate is barly 2.7%, meanwhile India has 4% inflation rate. 3. Housing market and price are not constant all over canada, there are cheaper cities and there are expensive ones. This video is very helpful in calling out cheaper options. 3. You have merely a population of 41 million and even Vancouver Island has way more area (with best weather) to accomodate all 41 million of you, you have massive amount of land near border. They are selling a false dream. You could buy a reasonable house in Canada for 5x your yearly salary and now you need 10x that plus with interest rates a $400k home will cost you $675k. Food is way over priced with most items %50 over regular price. Salaries have stagnated and unemployment in Canada's largest city is quite high at 7.9% because we keep adding people (317k people without work). $40-50K/year for the average job if you are lucky as a new comer and rents are $28k.
Our healthcare and education systems are crushed and our infrastructure is overloaded. Unless you are coming here to fill a needed position you are not doing anyone including yourself a favour.
Leave Canada.
As a fellow indian I believe we should all stay in India and contribute to growing our beautiful country. Its not right we go to other countries and destroy them, lets stay and build up India with all our talents!

Canada is getting ruined there's no jobs and certain international students are acting so entitled to everything. Demanding things. In the past 6 years I have seen my country change so drastically it is no longer the same country. Don't waste your money to come here. You are already disadvantaged against all the Mechanical Engineering (BEng) and Masters Students (MEng) for the same jobs. You will be working at Tim Hortons and won't find a job in your field.
Certificate > Diploma --> BEng --> MEng -- PHD. That is the Hierarchy.
There is no room for people in Canada and jobs for anyone. Go do some research online. The welcome moment for students has long passed. People are tired.

This is partially true. I have been living in Edmonton since 6 months but I could not able to make a job. I came from Ontario. Rents in sharing is around $550/650. It is same in Ontario, but some cities you will get little cheaper.
