Thanks a bunch... I couldn't find a screw but what I ended up using was an alen wrench. Metric was loose and wobbled a bit so changed to standard and cut a bit shorter. Fit fairly snug and works like a charm. Just cut it down with a cutting wheel on an angle grinder. Dremel tool would work too, whatever is handy. Thanks again 🤙.
@@jimmurrell1432 I used the smallest screw I could find in my rc, car spairs parts. The shorted the better. You will have to play around with it a bit.
Thanks for the trigger mod vid also did the short stroke but didn't have the upgrade nozzle spring so took original spring and stretch it out some seems to work looking forward to new videos
Did you have to drill a little hole for the screw. Wanting to do this as mine is short stroked and replaced nozzle and recoil springs... Other than those, it's stock
Can you take the screw out and still works same as before? Because I'm getting an aap for Christmas, and in case I like the stock trigger pull I may wanna take the screw out
Ik you posted this a year ago but thank you for this really made my day

I drilled a hole in the top of the trigger, angled to the back. Put a screw in there so I could actually adjust the sensitivity.
Your a G mate. literally made my brand new aap 01, 100x better
Thanks buddy glad it helped 👍
Keystroy....what size screw did you use mate?

@keystroy did you have to drill a hole in the plastic?
@@Mrmhibbert no, you just push down and wedge it in. Soft plastic so should just screw in with a little force.

Very great informatuon for DIY Mod. Thanks a lot!
Your very welcome buddy easy and makes a huge difference hope you find this channel helpfull 👍
Just did this free mod. Thanks. Way better. Don't think this allows your safety to work as I can't get mine to engage but not really needed anyway
Mine's with steel hammer sets .I can only mod it light pulled just 3½lbs,still heavy for rapid fire😂
Do you have to drill a hole or is it just that slim vertical gap that accepts the screw mate??
We galaxy gbb and aap 01 is familian
also seems like keeping tension on the spring would be bad no?
seems like i can only fit my screw to the right directly underneath the spring, and it moves every time i pull the trigger
Whats your grip plz ir looks sick and btw I can’t find the hole did you drilled your lower ?
can the screw damage the trigger well
Did you have to drill a little hole for the screw.

what screw is used
What kind of screw size is it
Do you just screw it in. Did you take the lower apart
After doing this to the gun have you seen any wear from the screw?
No not at all still using it now 3 months later mate
Just got myself a lil 6-32 size screw, hope thats about the right size to put in it
You got a picture buddy
Did the 6-32 size work out for you?
@@SunnyHyde it seemed a bit too big
What type of screw do you use?
Got a problem with my aap01 installed new hammer now won’t shoot when I press the trigger any ideas thanks
Can you add a picture of it assembled so i can try and help
What trigger is that?
How did you remove that trigger safety?
It disappears inside the trigger when you do the mod buddy
Hi there, could you please share me the link for the short stroke kit please
Hi just added the links to the description hope it helps

Yes. It works the same after.
Hey, what size screw is it?
M3 grub screw
I just put zip ties around the grip and trigger
Is the screw hole already built in the gun???
And can I make it to where it's not completely hair but just a bit???
No hole. You have to force it a bit and you can adjust it. You may have to play with it a bit to get it to work.
