Just bought my first Versace Eros 3.4 from Amazon. Trust me, I was VERY skeptical about buying it online especially since it took a bit of time to arrive. Thank God I found this video because I wouldn't have been able to tell if what I bought was real or fake. As soon as I unwrapped the plastic I could already smell the cologne from the box! Everything you described checked out and I definitely got the real deal! I'm waiting for the right time to wear it, likely Spring and Summer. Thanks for your help!
Eros works in the winter as well. It does have some sweetness and some punch power to make it work in the colder weather. I would not wear Eros in the summer, it's a bit too much for me.

Thanks man. I just bought on off ebay and everything was wrong with mine. The bottle cap is just a plain black one no madusa head at all. And the smell is gone with in 10mins. But the bottle and box differences helped me. Thank you.

@@TheRatedRockstar buying from EBay is not a bad thing, just watch out for crooks. Make sure you ask for real pictures of the product, check the seller, see what other products he is selling, you will be able to tell if that person is a piece of shit or if he is an authentic guy.

@@ezeke99m I can not know why no one made you compliments. It does not mean you don't smell good wearing the fragrance. Smell is a personal preference, maybe people around you are not the type of people to compliment, maybe they didn't like the smell, maybe they didn't smell you, a lot of factors come into play.

BaDR HaRI I finally managed to find some free time to do this video, I've been wanting to do this for a year now.
Just got my first ever Versace Eros and my first ever high end perfume. I was so excited when it got delivered but at the same time I’m a bit worried that what if I got the fake one because I only ordered it online- a bit risky especially I’m not quite sure if the boutique where it came from is a reputable one. I just trusted my guts based on the good reviews, however I certainly know that a good thread of reviews sometimes could be deceiving. I ordered anyway😂
But seeing this video? I’m super relieved that, yeah, the one I just got is an authentic one. Packaging☑️ font☑️ color☑️ the medusa head print inside the cap☑️ and the smell? Goodness! I have no fake version to compare it with but the smell is divine! I really can’t describe it like a legit perfume collector with its head, heart and base notes but all I can say is-It smells expensive and devilishly premium. By just opening the box alone, the smell is so sexy. I’m so happy I made the right decision and thanks for the video. It was of great help.

thank you man, just got me a versace eros edt 200 ml for a good deal price (about 90 USD), from a "trusted" retail store in my country, now i've confirmed mine is original, was really worried of its authenticity until i saw this video. However this counterfeit seems very coarse and cheap, hope there are no other better counterfeits harder to spot.
I never saw 200ml fakes. So you should not worry. I doubt any crooks would fake a 200ml Eroa.

I got a box of Versace Eros EDP and when I check the batch code it comes up as a future batch code 04-18-2022 but after watching your video and looking everything over my bottle checks out as authentic so it has to be a problem with the checkfresh website or the Versace codes themselves. But all else checks out perfect.

I would choose the EDP over the EDT any day. It’s more mature and well rounded. The notes blend together in harmony vs the EDT.

I bought this online recently. Everything you've discribed about the original bottle matches what I have. However I am still not convinced if my bottle is authentic. Mainly because the fragrance itself seems to have a 'cheap' smell. It's very strong and musky. Anyone else with a similar experience?
Got my bottle today and I spotted some manufacturing issues such as a line on the side of the bottle. However, the automazer and the juicy is strong and I tested it on my hand, lasted for 7 hours and still going, I even wash my hand and the smell is still there. The Versace head is in the bottle cap but the cap is not exactly fit on the automizer and will fall if turned up down. Checked the batch code on check fresh and it said that is from 2019. I don't know what to believe, I paid like 45 bucks for 100 ml and I feel like even though it may seem like a fake one, the juice is the same as the one that I checked in retail shops, also the box and the bottle correspond exactly with the original one showed in this video.

Anthony J is your batch embossed at the bottom of the box or is it printed ? From what I remember the older batches were embossed.
Uh oh, it's printed. But from what I hear 2015 was a reformulation as well, 2014 was the last batch that wasn't reformulated. Even the cap has the versace face inside of it and the box even looks the same as yours as well as the bottle, smells the same as the one i tested at macys but that one did last a bit longer not a big difference tho. I feel like their tester bottles are always a bit stronger and longer lasting.

Question! I bought this fragrance for a really low price, the guy who was selling it said it was a tester so he could get it for cheap. I got it in person and I was like lemme check this shit. I go on this video and i see that everything is the same except the atomizer, which is lined up correctly but is not black. Instead it is this grey or kind of white color. The performance I get is VERY good. At least 12 hours. When I first sprayed it on I smelled alcohol so I was not sure if it was real or fake. Help!
I can not know if you have an authentic or not based on the fact that the atomizer is not black.
Sample the fragrance in an authentic shop near you and make the head on comparison.
I got a bottle for christmas, and I don't know what's up with it. It has all the right markings of the real one, but this is a smell I'm very familiar with and it just doesn't smell right. It almost smells somewhat "sour"
Where did you buy it from ? If the seller is well known you should not worry for getting a fake.

@@tattoofun2003 A slight deformation of the glass on the bottom of the bottle. Face side. To explain further, from the side going towards the middle there is an ever so slight arch.
@@Philth_E I watched at mine, the bottle has a sligh arch of you watch from certain angles. If I watch from the side of the bottle, the bottom is slightly arched also. The tube is visible but it's thin.

Cantos The label at the bottom of the bottle surprised me on the quality it had. The bottle also looks good.
The rest can not fool anyone, the printing is too obvious, the smell has a mustard feel in the background, chipped coating at the top of the cap.
The backside of the bottle is actually very well done. But the misprinting of the embossed parts is very sloppy. Summed up you can say that some of the involved guys did a "good" job, but the ones responsible for the printing suck.

I bought a Versace Eros gift set on eBay, came with a deodorant stick, aftershave and cologne, I only paid $55, at first it smells the same as how it smelled in the store but on the dry down on my skin, it smells a little different than how it smelled on my skin in the store. I was told that the dot on the inside of the cap was a big sign that its fake but your authentic bottle also has that dot on the inside of the cap. Mine also has the blue atomizer, like your authentic bottle, the cap is heavier, but it just smells different on the dry down. The seller I bought it from claims that this is because he has had it for over 5 years and never used it, do you think this affected the cologne? The average shelf life of a fragrance is only 3-5 years, just wondering your opinion, please help if you can!

Time makes a fragrance better if the storage conditions were normal room temperature and not in direct sun light.

I just got a my order delivered today from Fragrancenet.com it took 9 days !! Every thing looks authentic but there is a big problem which is the atomizer is not working! ! Doesn't spray at all . So I called them asked for a full refund they sent me the return label right away and I shipped it back just now.

Yeh man I got the same problem. My one isn't a fake but it is from a 2017 or 2018 batch. So sillage, performance, longevity has really decreased. Such a shame.

The 3.4 fl oz bottle on amazon, that you provided the link for weighs .85lbs. Which converted to grams it is 384 grams....which does not add up to the 373 grams you said the authentic weighed...
