Sounds great! My 95 corolla has a regular muffler but aftermarket headers, no resonator and straight pipe all the way to the muffler. It sounds decent for not being loud. But this sounds great!
Bro I bought this for S when I got it. I didn't want a full cat back. It's perfect, kinda way louder than expected. My gf drove it so i could hear it when I was driving behind her in my other car. It's not that rice hollow can bullshit rasp. Only thing is I had ppl try to race me cause that 132hp 4spd auto and 2850lb car has to Rev to get anywhere in traffic 🤣. The vid doesn't do justice. None of them do
Yeah it was louder than many videos I saw! But it does sound SO much better than most of those raspy Honda civics. Yeah I wish these corollas were faster, hopefully soon I will be doing some more engine mods to my corolla!!

I see many automatics put them on their cars and they sound good. The only thing with a automatic is you can’t really hold the higher RPM’s to get the exhaust to sounds the same as a manual.

Was this muffler custom? Or set for your car? Jt is so hard to fine exhaust parts that are fbo and not just universal lol. But sounds deep and nice, wayyy better then muffler delete haha

And I’ve been wanting to put some exhaust on my Camry, but I was hoping for a bolt on, and nobody has yet. They are niche m117 Misano 18x8.5 with Nankang 225 40 18 And I got them from figment industries. I ordered them as a set. And they came mounted and balanced. And I just had to put them on the car!
Hey man I just got this and am having trouble with getting the 2 bolts to thread with the springs on the new one. It seems like I can never get them both on and threading without one popping out. Already got new screws and springs coming. Any tips on where to put the vice grip or vice grips? Did you use 2 or just one? And did you put them on the sides where the bolts are or top and bottom. Any feedback helps thank you man!
When I was doing this is took me about 30 minutes to try and get those screws in. But I think I had them on the bottom close to the bolt holes. But I had 1 set of vise grips to hold onto one side and another set of just normal pliers squeezing to try to get the flange closer to the threaded hole, while trying to get the bolt to thread In. If you got more than 1 person it might help, but it’s doable with 1 person!

Yeah they are a big pain, and another tip is to make sure you try to thread them in evenly. So just get the first one started a few threads and than try to get the other one, and slowly tighten them both evenly.

I think I just needed the new bolts so the threads were fresh and wouldn’t just strip when I tried to put the vice grip on. The exhaust sounds good now I like how it still sounds deep and rich without the rasp.
It sucks how many nice parts were for the upper trims only. Wish I could swap the not-dull-orange cluster over from an S, but odometer data is stored in the cluster, not the ECU.

This exhaust is made for the corolla S. Because you have the body kit, which sticks past the car and the exhaust is inside it. Since I don’t have the body kit you see the exhaust stick out much more. But I don’t think there really is a way to get it to stick out more unless you have someone weld on a longer exhaust tip!
There is no welding, you just need to unbolt the old one, and bolt the new one in. It might be a little hard if the bolts are rusty, so a good impact might be needed!
Nice, but at the end you finally say you got a header ! That flows more exhaust and will sound off more than stock ! Should have said that at the beginning man...

Just wait to do cams/flash tune until you've done all else. I decided to work from front to back, but I wish I saved a bit more before doing the cams so I can buy the tune first.

@@envious-player8422 yes these will fit a 2010 corolla. But you might not even need them if your existing bolts are good. I only replaced mine because they were rusty and rounded out.

@@jeansanchez2277 from what I have seen, this is the only bolt on exhaust for this car. Another thing you can do if you do not want to cut the bumper is get a hairs hanger extension, so that way you can lower below the bumper, but still have it connected with a hanger.
@@jeansanchez2277 yes it will fit as long as your car is also a 2009 or 2010. But just know that when you get a S bumper, they usually don’t come with the valances, and they have holes in the bumper for where they are supposed to fit.
Yeah when I bought mine it was $360. It looks like supply is running low. So they bringing the price up. Maybe try and check another website and see if they are cheaper.

This exhaust isn’t to loud at low RPM. It just gets kinda loud at higher RPM. But it doesn’t sound like a tin can at all. It sounds good. But for other exhaust there isn’t any other ones that bolt onto the car. Otherwise you will have to have one welded onto the exhaust by an exhaust shop.
It’s not very loud on cold start, it is loud but not loud enough to wake neighbors. And it does get pretty loud when you are getting in the high RPM’s. So it could attract cops!
Watching other borla exhaust without the header. It sound ricey when they let go of the gas peddle when they hit the rev limiter.... it has that farting civic can sound...
I have DNA racing headers on my car, and if you hit the gas the right amount you can make it pop and crackle a little bit. Otherwise you would need a tune to make it pop much more.
I've had mine for almost 6 months and I'm still very satisfied with it. Well worth the 360 and 125 for installation

This is just a stock motor with, Headers, Intake and the Borla exhaust. And it will naturally want to do that.

It’s been a while since I did this, it’s think it’s either a 19MM or a 21MM.

Yeah it does, but luckily you can modify things to make them better, I have a video coming out for swapping out the cluster, so stay tuned for that!

Did you tune ur car after switching the exhaust?
After the exhaust install I did not. But I eventually got a tune a few months later. It is not required unless you want the most power.
Does the after-market exhaust increase power?
There is a slight increase, only a few HP.

I haven’t had any problems with any of the mods I have done! And if anything my MPG has actually gotten better than it was before!

This will work on a 2011, just remember that you have a LE, so you will need to cut the bumper like I did! But everything will bolt up.

it's an NA car, you won't get any difference in power from an axle-back aftermarket muffler...
