Some people might not like to hear this, but it is the truth, and they NEED to hear it. Acharya is an absolute master of logic, and no matter how hard you try, you will not be able to refute his conclusions if you are being truly honest with yourself. The time has come to once and for all rid ourselves of the demonic poisons of video games and pornography!

I used to be addicted to video games. Then we had triplets. Haven’t played in over 3 years and now that the kids are a bit older and not needing as much, my free time is spent fishing once or twice a week

Unflinching and to the point, this is an extremely important message for young men today. How much time has been wasted when the total accumulated time young men and kids have spent on video games is tragic, and this is a huge contributer as to why there's very little actual mass resistance against the ruling evil of modernity on the part of young men who are supposed to be strong. The asuras and their ilk want us to play video games, among other deluding distractions. This is to make us weak, emasculated, and obedient. But let's do the opposite.

I stopped playing video games about 14 years ago when I was in my early 20's. I did not initially intend to quit, but life starting happening and I didn't have time for them anymore. Simultaneously I stopped listening to certain negative music and watching violent TV shows and movies. I noticed that I was in a better mood and had an overall better outlook on life. I grew up playing video games since I was 5 or 6 years old. I have an 8 year old and we don't even have a video game system in the house.
The message that Sri Acharyaji puts forth in this video is important because his comparison to addictive drugs is true in my own experience. I cannot stress the positive effects of cutting myself off from that kind of influence. I felt physically, mentally, and spiritually more sound after I quit gaming.
There are many "men" who are in their thirties and even forties who still play games and it is a symptom of a weak culture, devoid of authentic traditional masculinity, and they do try to excuse it as if it is just "the way that things are now."
If you are a young man, you should take his advice and quit.

I often ask the question: What is your duty, what does God want you to do (i.e. what is the purpose of your life)? The answer is NOT: play video games all day and get off to porn.

I know too many young men who spend half their day on video games, then they wonder why they can't get a date, aren't achieving anything, seem to be depressed all the time. Well, what are you offering to a woman? A life watching you score enough with the magic broom to get to the next level?
