The most scenic lines are railways from Ogulin to Rijeka (beatiful mountains with villages and youre pretty far up so you can see the sea after Lokve or Fužine, also beatiful nature with some beatiful forests, also because of the terrain there are some sharp turns so there are alot of beatiful locations to record), Oštarije - Split (pretty much the same, just with better speeds), Karlovac - Bubnjarci (especially Ozalj - Bubnjarci, theres some beatiful nature and landscapes with some turns, also the speed is a bit higher then before Ozalj). If you want to see old DMUs and locomotives you can visit the Varaždin area cause there are alot of old EMDs running there, same for Osijek. On Ozalj - Karlovac the small Swedish DMUs, are running who also have sliding windows, HŽPP 7122 series in Sweden marked as Y1. On Zagreb - Ogulin and Ogulin - Rijeka you can still see some trains that have the classical electric locomotives series 1141, on Zagreb - Vinkovci you can see the 1142 series aka Brenas, on 2 lines they even ride at their full speed aka 160 km/h. They are on IC train usually, and in the morning on trains 2010 and 2013. On Zagreb - Koprivnica you can see them on IC 581 and 580. Diesels locomotives on passenger trains are now rare nowadays, you can only see them on B 781/0 on sundays (Zagreb - Osijek and the other way) and on summer season between Split and Ogulin on Adria, EN from Bratislava, and some other lines.
