The more I rewatch Touch the Light, the more I believe it is a masterpiece. Kondaurova, especially, is sublime. Khoreva and Parish dance their part with great inner focus and concentration each on the other. It is refreshing to see a piece like this rather than a traditional classical ballet with its set pieces and the dancers projecting to the audience - not that I will ever give up watching traditional ballets! I like the quietness and flow of this piece. Needless to say, the technical skills of Khoreva and Parish are well up to the task.
