i still remember what it was like to read/watch mariford arc the first time. We have been watching luffy overcome pretty strong foes, coming through with sheer force of will, and we thought we had the scope of this world. Then came Whitebeard, and we saw how GODS do war. Its like Hawkeye said... "frog in the well". Seeing him punch Akainu so hard that his fist distorted reality was just... My jaw was on the floor.
Yeah man, fully agree.
But I love now how we see literal God's and seeing how far luffy has come since then!
