I have this. The glue holding the leather style trim to the solar panels failed after about a year, and it's not really sturdy enough to hang off a backpack like it shows in the ad pic. On the whole I still appreciate it. And the light is nice and bright for quick and dirty camp light. Placing a clear or white plastic fast food beverage cup on it makes for a nice diffuse lamp :)
Sounds like somebody is planning a camping trip or some night fishing! ..haha. These things just keep getting better and better! While a friend of mine was hiking up a mountain, he saw a guy with little solar panels in his camping hat that charged a battery. And a flexible solar flap hanging out the back of his backpack also.
quite weird this popped up. mine just arrived in the mail 20 minutes ago. My one concern is...how do you know this battery actually packs a 25k mAH punch? I have seen reviews for this ...mine is exactly the same as the one you have, but claims to be 35kmAH...but I did come across some reviews that ran tests and said that the mAH is 15k mAH, they included pics of evidence. Any way to to tell for sure?

When I plug my phone into this after a solar recharge, I hear a strang sound for a few seconds. Does yours do this? Could it be defective?
