I remember planning in advance to go to my friends' house to see live this because they got MTV Europe on Satellite. They didn't get Depeche but they were still really impressed. My, how times have changed. Anyone can watch anything anywhere if they want to, nowadays
Yeah. And which new music we can listen anywhere? Shit. Or music of 20/30 years ago when wasn't possible to listen everything everywhere. Maybe is a coincidence...maybe not.

Lehet bármit mondani az egész turnéra, vagy csak külön a 'One Night in Paris'-re. Szerintem színpadi jelenlétben, mozgásban, akár még stílusban is (ruházat) itt volt számomra (!) a toppon. 💜🎤✌🏻
és tényleg , én is ezen a turnén láttam Dave-t topformában ,nagyon odatette magát a színpadon, és mindent egybevéve ez a legjobb!!!!!

Does anyone know why they played this song? Don't get me wrong: it's a great song and it was a great performance. ;-) But the song at this time was 14 years old. Why didn't they play a new song?

I think they played it because the MTV awards that year were in Germany. This song was number 2 in the charts in West Germany (before the fall of the Berlin Wall) when it came out in 1987 - therefore the most popular for the audience.
Everyone thought they will play something from their 2001 Exciter so it was a surprise. An epic surprise.
They kind of overdid it.
Please, removed that drummer, this is not Guns and Roses, ruined this great songs. Alan please come back.! 😢
