  • Godinho's thirteenth and final rule in the Double Sword section of his "Arte de Esgrima" (1599), plus a couple of adenda for previous rules. This rule is a variation of the previous one, focused here on defending oneself's cape placed on the ground. Includes an example of switching from some rules to others as the combat situation demands.
Featuring Moncho Varela as the double sword practicioner of Academia da Espada, and his twin blades as his weapons of choice.
Music: Ala dos Namorados - Não Tragais Borzeguis Pretos.

Is there any chance we will be seeing videos for single sword or sword and dagger?

Maybe a little bit off the topic, but I really like the BGM you used in these videos.

Hey guys. I have a question.
What are the differences, with using/fighting with a "spadone"
    vs. fighting with a "montante?"
The reason I ask, is because I have heard, that some "Italians"
and "sword fighters," have claimed, that while a "spadone" and a "montante"
might be kind of similar, there are some differences in techniques, when
using either of them. (Maybe probably due to size and weight etc?)
The other reason why I'm asking, is because I'm doing some
important research, for a project I'm working on.
Feel free to answer, whenever you have time.👍
    Brandon Farfan.

Probably just regional styles, the spanish montante seems almost exclusively defensive in motion, maybe the italians used a more aggresive style

Good sir, try to dance it with a ballet like way, which I mean using only the abs and waist power and angular velocity, with your arms as tails to pivot it like swimming or canoeing
