@@alexandergunaka666 na that sounds about right you want a geyser.. jk on a real note brake fluid is extremely corrosive it will eat paint and rust any metal within days. If you do spill some clean it asap
Also the mechanic in this video mentions the peddle is mushy because the vehicle is off? Every vehicle I’ve been in has a hard pedal when the vehicle is off because there’s no brake booster.
@@shanedottie exactly. The brakes must be hard if the vehicle is turned off. Because there's no any vacuum assistant (brake booster) for the brakes. Even if the brake paddle hits floor when the engine off. There's two things to check 1. Identify a leak in Wheel cylinder/ Caliper pistons 2. Identify if the master brake pump washers are worn out so no pressure build up in the master pump leads to no leak or not leveling down the brake fluid but still you feel lower brake performance.
I never question a client about any work they want done if they said change my brakes even though they may look good I’m gonna do what I’m told cause at the end of the day it’s their money and I’m just here to work. I don’t question the customer 🤷🏻♂️
Got a problem with my 2015 Nissan Rogue Air system. It only works when it want to,I tried switching out the fuses from the fuse box but that didn’t work.I know there a solution, can u plz advise???
Make sure the slide pins are nice and snug. Not loose, make sure that caliper is on there well. Make sure you put the pads right into its position. Check if your lug nuts are loose. Torque them to spec
@@alexandergunaka666 mostly bigger vehicles, to get quality parts is expensive these days. You can get the cheap ones from autozone usually for 100 each tho
@@AnthonyLopez-gy8uv You aren’t that smart huh? Right above your comment is me saying what vehicle are you referring to in reference of the same question you asked. When saying rotors are cheap, you need to understand what cheap is reference to. It’s cheap in reference to having to keep pad slapping your vehicle because the wear down so quickly because you’re not resurfacing or replacing your rotors. Speaking of resurfacing, no one really offers it anymore as a service because it’s almost the same price as most rotors. People really only still offer it for older cars where the parts are harder to find. So if you can save more money on not constantly buying brake pads by buying rotors then the rotors are cheap. Also, not replacing the rotors and just pad slapping can cause issues that cause other damage that cost more money like replacing a caliper. If you still just want to talk in dollars then I’ll say what car are you referring to?
If your brake fluid is low it could just be from the worn pads… when you replace the pads the brake fluid goes back to max
Wait, you don’t want to just fill it to the max so when you replace the pads you shoot brake fluid out of the master cylinder like a geyser?

Pruis always had those brake systems where the vehicle had to be on
The last scene 😂😭🤘🏻
When your vehicles is off the brake pedal should be hard after 3-4 pumps. You need to leave cars alone.

Do you swap disk wit new ones when replacing brakes pad ?

A/C and heat air? Change the blower motor and resistor.
I changed my brakes rear brake pads on my 2018 Corolla but now I hear a funny noise when driving over a speed bump or on bumpy road
In fact I changed both the pads and discs
Check your rear stab links if it sounds like metal clanking.

Tip #2 is basically to pad slap your car. Rotors are cheap. Replace them when you do the pads.
Rotors are not cheap they can be 150-200 dollars each. I usually pad slap especially if it’s a cheaper daily driver
