In 2020 I sat in a hot car in Texas for 8 hours while my husband was having surgery. I was not allowed into the hospital, much less near my husband. In 2020 my brother-in-law lay dying. I was unable to visit him. In 2020 at Thanksgiving I was the only family member banned from dinner (because I was not vaccinated) and my husband I spent that day alone. In 2020 I had a retinal tear and was unable to get an appointment with a retinal doctor for 2 months. I lost some vision due to the delay. It required laser surgery. I am just one person, imagine all the other people who had real suffering. Never forget.

Here in Michigan, Whitmer had Gyms, hair salons, travel to essential use only, if you owned a vacation home you could not even go to your vacation home in state. Often using enforcement for anyone that defined orders.
While keeping massage parlor and chiropractic care open. She, her team, husband could travel going to Florida or vacation homes. Getting haircuts and go shopping.
She was a tyrant that would go after anyone that defined her.

Every other county outside of the cities don't like Whitmer.
Before covid she wanted to hike the tax on gas to be higher than California for state tax. It came out later the main reason was to give pay raises to state government officials.
Mind you MI residents have some of the highest care insurance already because of no-fault insurance and they recently changed the plate renewal tags to be based on the original sell price of the car off from the old system that depicted the tag renewal over the years.

Gotta tell you, as a RN at a major Phila hospital system, I would be hard-pressed to think of a doctor I respect more. I salute you, sir.
Let’s be clear about the terminology. A hypocrite is someone who says one thing and does another. A tyrant is someone who compels others to do things that they themselves have no intention of being held to the same standards.
This political “leader” flagrantly flouted public safety orders repeatedly in the company of his well placed friends in much the same way one would imagine the royalty of yesteryear would have done. The implication is that the public are the subjects, and they are the ruling class - and they clearly acted in a manner that presumes they are effectively above the law. Will they and their friends face actual legal consequences for this that the subjects would have faced? Hell no.
Once we have this distinction, the required public response is nicely clarified. Pitch forks and torches are called for. One day the public might actually wake up and recognize as much.

I knew what they were doing was wrong from the start, and I lost the last tiny shred of trust that I had left in the healthcare system in 2020. I heard that that finding was possibly confounded by the change in practice, using steroids for trading cytokine storm.
@@teresabenson3385 seems that ventilators are meant more to remove an accumulation of CO2 than to provide extra oxygen. still, you need to be trained on how to use it, much like when treating a marathon runner who has collapsed from exhaustion. sometimes the best solution is to let the body take care of itself.

It was only 20-35% of the colonial citizenry of the U.S. who fought for independence. You don't need a majority to be successful. A zealous, or in this case, a compliant and uneducated minority will do nicely.

The result of the handling of covid tore families and friendships apart in some cases. It deeply divided us for no reason. I work in Healthcare and and was told by co-workers I deserved to die because I refused the vaccine. I was told I deserved to lose my nursing license because I was skeptical of the policies and mandates. I feel like following my intuition was the right decision.

This video is what I am going to send my family and friends who are all on board for voting democrat no matter what. I don't care about the presidential angle so much. Every single one of the policy makers during the covid era, in every major and minor blue run city marched in lockstep. Red states, counties, and towns, at least pushed back on this these issues and recognized autonomy of citizens at a much higher level.

They are appealing the decision, of course, so it will likely end up at SCOTUS, but may have lost some steam thanks to them overturning Chevron. They were basically trying to do full on concentration camps for unvaxxed people. That's what Trump was trying to avoid by going along with Warp Speed, which by the way, Pfizer did not take Warp Speed money. They didn't want the oversight.

This makes me so mad as a pediatric nurse…I couldn’t understand why an adult hospital never let my sister and her 4 daughters see her husband until he was pretty much dead 21 days before she saw him and by then he was no longer there…a 44 year old who died of Covid…tragic…we sat in a hotel near the hospital waiting to see him or be “let in”…facetimed him, then facetimed him when he ended up intubated…I have videos of the grandchildren saying hi papa broke my heart as he lay alone in a bed 🛌…so many injustices during this time…my sister and her children could have gowned up just like the nurses and he wouldn’t have deteriorated and suffered alone.
Yes, it never made sense that the hospital staff could come and go while the family of the dying patients were not allowed to comfort their loved ones or receive closure when their family member died.

A week later she was recorded attending a family wedding and dancing at the reception. No one was wearing a mask, other than the caterers who were required to do so by their employer.

The local private catholic high school was only closed for about six weeks and then returned to normal in class attendance. Zero teachers or students died or even got sick. Public schools were closed for a year and a half and went to online totally worthless school. In the end they passed every student regardless of work done or not done. Total sham....

I’m in Washington state. The governor was pure medical dictator. The office is open and the Dem AG is running. The Rep is a former cop that gets it. The Covid response and its follow-up would be a huge campaign issue if I was running. Thanks Dr your courage is needed at so many levels.

I was in the construction business for 45 years and I had to wear a mask on many occasions when remodeling an old house etc etc.
I knew what a simple mask could and could not do. Most people had never had to wear a mask and therefore did not understand what a regular mask was capable of doing.
What really made me angry was Fauci's hypocrisy and lies all for political reasons.
I'm not opposed to vaccines IF they have been thoroughly tested and approved by the FDA, but since the COVID debacle, the government has lost all credibility in my opinion.
