You guys know that when Midas’s touches something it turns into gold well he was holding the knights helmet in his other hand that’s what I didn’t understand when that’s season came out
I think it’s mostly about « timing » and how good the reskin and remix is, by that I mean this : Peelverine didn’t get hated on because it was an honest surprise to get a new Peely remix in a Marvel season out of nowhere and it was a good one since it was a reference/throwback to C2S4 and also the fact that it’s been quite a few seasons we didn’t get a new Peely skin *WHEREAS* Hope is a character that was consistently present throughout the recent seasons so people weren’t as excited to see a new version of her, it could also have something to do with the fact that when a skin gets a new version it will either have a more positive or negative impact depending on how much that same skin is appreciated by the community
