Excelente!!! We wait for some lessons about the philosophical and poetical works of Muhammad Iqbal and above all about his "Jāvīd-nāmé". Greetings to the teacher
Thnak you for your kind prayers and wishes. I hope to finish filming, editing, and uploading the Reign of Quantity series before the end of 2024 in shāʾ Allah.
@@sifatraihan3455 Yes, it is. But it's the only one I have at the moment, and we have to start somewhere, right? Edit: I just gave up on reading this book in Coleman Barks's translation.
@@VanessaSouza_02Hey , I hope your enjoying the book .. My advice to you would be to not jump straight into his poetry but rather read fihi ma fihi ... It's a collection of short speeches Rumi made towards his students ... It is free on the internet and it allows you to get a grasp of Rumi's philosophy before jumping into his poetry ...
Brother, i am so glad that you mentioned about Coleman barks, that man has misrepresented rumi and has got away with it for far too long, kudos to you 👍
Dr. Ahmad, thank you very much for another informative video within such a short time. I had stated this question in another video of mine but kindly make a video or a series of videos on sufism and tariqa with an emphasis on those who want to be a saliq but don't have anybody to show them the path so that they can take or practice from a book or series of books. It'd be great if you read my comment. I pray that Allah SWT keeps in you good health and prolong a good, healthy, happy, and prosperous life for you.
Thank you for the excellent video. "A Treasury of Rumi" by Muhammad Isa Waley (Kube Pub Ltd, 2020) can also be recommended as an excellent short introductory work. It situates Rumi firmly in his Quranic & Islamic context. It is also well organized & beautifully concise.
Thanks you so much for this excellent content. This is invaluable and really helps to focus studies on key texts. Could I make a request for a series on homeschooling and the most important topics to cover. Thanks again and keep up the excellent work.
Question: when you mention works by Abdulbaki Golpinarli do you mean "Mevlâna Celaleddin" or you have some other work in mind? I read some Turkish and it would be great way to practice it but not sure if that's what should I pick. I am more interested in philosophy of Rumi rather than biographical and historical facts.

I have not studied Iqbal.
بارك الله فيكم وهدى بكم وأفاض عليكم من لدنه علما واسعا وأطال في عمركم لإتمام ما بدأتم بإذن الله.
Much appreciated! May Allah bestow His Mercy and Fortune on you. Also, appreciate your effort in continuing the Reign of Quantity series.😃

Thank you for such a great introduction to Rumi. Hope you do a more in-depth analysis of Rumi's poetry in the future.
could you make a reading list for Avicenna?
Good suggestion. I'll add it to the list.
Jazakhallah Saiyad.
A very special episode of the series
Iyyākum, Mohsin. Thank you for watching.
What a nice surprise! I started reading Rumi yesterday! I'm reading Rumi The Essential. ✿
There are no coincidences. Everything happens in its time.
Isn’t that the one by Coleman Barks?

Thank you for reminding me. I have been thinking about this question and I will try and make a video on this soon, in shāʾ Allah.

مثنوی معنوی مولوی /هست قران در زبان پهلوی such a great poem

I had in mind Abdülbaki Gölpınarlı, Mevlânâ'dan sonra Mevlevîlik (İnkılâp kitabevi, 2006).
@@SaiyadNizamuddinAhmad Thank you Sheikh! I think I will check both books and learn both Rumi and Turkish at the same time!
Will you be doing any courses open to the general public anytime soon?
Not at the moment. But if there is something you are interested in let me know and I will think about it.
