Why we practice the Neutral Buoyancy Fin Pivot, what is the value:
In case you want to adjust your buoyancy during a scuba dive you can use the Fin Pivot to learn how your lungs work underwater and how to adjust air in the BCD.
How to organize the Neutral Buoyancy Fin Pivot demonstration for the PADI IDC Skills circuit:
Place yourself in the water too deep in which to stand. Place your scuba diving students in a straight line or half a circle.
Tips for the Neutral Buoyancy Fin Pivot demonstration skill:
1. Perform it slowly
2. Remember that it takes time for your lungs to change your buoyancy
3. Emphasise to your students that can use their BCD when they need/want to
4. Go up and down at least 3 time after final reminder to get the best score
